Short term Brexit is going to be rough. Long term I think it was the right call. We will see. I think we will continue to see fallout for at least a year or two.

I have a feeling Ford and Ferrari will both be nerfed for the rest of the season anyway. This was Fords big moment, and Ferrari hung back (sandbagged with them) so they could play spoiler.

Probably not even a lap. The extra fuel will be burned up with the extra air they are allowed. Probably won’t change the range significantly but allow them to produce more power while maintaining range.

You would hope, but they actually improved their lap time by 5 seconds between testing and qualifying. That’s some great engineering!

Hopefully none, but who knows. I know the Corvette team commented that they have been sharing their data with the governing body (supposedly to be up front about everything).

Time for an update. They tweaked the BOP again. Who knows if they just sent things in the other direction. 10 kilos added to the Ferrari and Ford I think.

I always enjoyed 5th gear. More of a show for car people than the general audience. Sadly that’s also probably why it’s gone and Top Gear lives on.
