Except for his lack of confidence, Jared would be a better CEO than Richard. Though almost anyone would be a better CEO than Richard.

I like the constant failure as a source of conflict and think it keeps the show grounded but at some point, it would be interesting to explore something different and I'm hoping the next season gives them some sort of sustained success.
Who on earth has Girls as their fantasy? That is one depressing fantasy.
Primarily because it was a different time, even if it was only a few years ago and painstaking, socially aware recaps and analyses of HBO series did not happen with the same frequency. Honestly, people actually seemed to like Entourage while it was on and it won a ton of awards.
I hated Carrie passionately but I enjoyed Sex and the City as a (non-white, non-upper middle class) teen. It was really unique for its time. There were no other shows where women were allowed to talk about sex as frankly and for a lot of young girls, it was educational. No one's ever going to fucking say that about…
"I long to live in a society where it's okay to objectify both sexes equally, because the pendulum has sure as hell swung way too far in one direction. "
I think they should have saved Dorne for next season, given that that plot-line has gone absolutely nowhere in nine episodes and feels like filler.
I thought the palace looked good last week but the outdoor sets don't feel immersive or impressive to me at all. Dorne feels much smaller and more shallow to me than all the other sets. It just looks so cheesy and camp and the absurd fake accents don't help.
the only joke i found over-the-top and unrealistic to the point of not being funny was the one where the congresswoman kept on fixating on jonah's harassment in a crude way. i can imagine one of his co-workers saying stuff like that but it just seems completely bizarre for a congresswoman to repeatedly humiliate…
This is a terrible article that misses the point on so many levels.
This would only be an equivalently inappropriate situation if Bond had killed those girls' whole families first. And the girls were completely terrified and had nowhere else to go.
I don't think objecting to Carrie fucking a scared, virgin kid half her age whose family she just killed by remote control plays into any kind of gender-related double standard I know of.
