My wife actually encouraged me to get new wheels when I showed her the listing online. Turned out after I got new tires also, that my old tires seemed to have dry rot starting between the treads. Tires were 4 years old
Here’s mine from last week!
Has anyone else seen this info from somewhere other than Car and Driver?
I am pretty excited to hear that they think an XT Moniker is a given. I am not holding out hope for a manual, but I could seriously consider one of these as a future option.
My wife and I took the kids for a short walk at a local nature reserve. Didn’t realize the pond I saw frozen over last time, would be covered so heavily in lilies.
July4th weekend my wife and I were able to get out of the house without the kids in tow. Rented some water bikes and spent some time on the river.
Unfortunately I didn’t have my DSLR because I was going to be on the water, but I was able to grab a panorama of the Fire Boat’s unexpected water show.
I saw on Facebook that several WWII Era planes were going to fly over my house. Grabbed the camera and waited. Took a few shots in the lawn while I waited too.
So I didn’t take the job in Charlotte. Great offer but they wanted me down there sooner than I was comfortable with. Fortunately I’m still happy where I am, so I’m not that upset.
I had planned on never moving for a very long time, once I moved back to Buffalo. Interestingly enough though, there is a tech company in Charlotte that is flying me down for interviews for a IT Security Operations Team Lead position. Assuming they offer me the job, this very well could have me moving once again down…
Each picture is a combination of 3 photos stitched together.
Just had the VF40 Turbo (OEM) replaced on my 2006 Outback XT.
It’s nice seeing this kind of good news.
Assuming there are no hiccups, in October I’ll be headed to the South Yorkshire area of England for a week on business. Not sure how much of this time will be my own, but I wanted to ask the Oppo crowd for good restaurants, cigar bars, things to check out, etc.
Just got the informal word that I am being offered the new position. Same company, just a big promotion. Instead of supporting the U.S. and Canada for one type of technology, I’ll be supporting the entire world for a different type of technology. Super exciting but there is a potential downside. I may have to travel…
In case you ever wondered if you could do this....
This is the weather system coming our way. Are we screwed?
So I knew you could find companies to haul your automotive goods cross-country, but never had to look into it. Today, I stumbled upon uship.com by accident (I don’t need to be shipping anything), and I kind of like wasting time here.
They’ve freed the carcicle.
So my DD is an FX50 and I wanted an excuse to pick up a fun Subaru for under $10k, preferably under $8k though.
