Funny you should mention this. I had already planned on doing this to both my wife's car and mine this weekend.
Funny the G-Class was in a Handicapped spot. Also...it sounds like our vigilante is a woman. Pretty Ballsy!
I don't even really care who the driver is, just that I could be driven around in a McLaren. Wonder how long this stunt will last for though?
Damn, you were spot on for every single one of those. I couldn't have even come up with this list, but you went and made it perfect. Nice!
What do those teeth do to the airflow? All I can imagine are tons and tons of vortices created by those teeth... Could be bad.
I miss my 1990 Prelude Si, everytime I see one driving around. (I see a lot more herein the south than I did up north....damn salt)
It's boring but I like it better than the current model.
So much win here! Forgot how much I liked them until hearing this again.
I have that BMW engine you speak of and they resolved it after '10 I believe. But regardless of issues with the turbos in some cars that received a 10 year High Pressure Fuel Pump warranty and an 8 years Turbo Warranty, I have faith in the newer generations. Also the engines themselves are still super smooth and…
Think of all the Non-BMW Dealers right now that have "CPO" BMW's that they are no longer able to sell like that. They likely took a small bath in the profits they won't make back. (Meaning they took the trade-in with the expectations to sell as CPO, and now they can't.) So their ROI just fell a bit. Going to have some…
I'd imagine working on an RS is cheaper though, right? I would think parts for the SUbaru are easier to come by and cheaper too. I could be wrong because I haven't had much experience with the Ur S4/S6, let alone seen one in the wild.
This has been the car to buy right now for awhile. There are fewer and fewer stock RS's. Great looking car and I'd love to have one, but I'd take a Forester XT over one though.
If I trade in my 535 I am seriously considering the Infiniti FX50 or an X5 50. I love my wife's FX50, but I prefer the BMW engineering that carries through everything they build. It'll be a tough choice...although one is much cheaper than the other.
That was rather poetic and also a very realistic portrayal of how we have all likely felt at one point or another.
Seeing how Infiniti dropped the V8 version entirely from the FX50, I could see the used market retain it's value very well if not increase in value.
I've driven an X1 for a week as a loaner, and they really aren't bad at all. Really enjoyed the drive (if not a bit louder than I'm used to) Liked the engine note and you can hear the turbo's as well.
My wife and I ended up with an '09 Infinity FX50 and I went with an '09 BMW 535. I've put a piggy back ECU in by Burger Motor Sports that changes everything. It's how the car really should have come. The X1 makes me want to give the X3 a 2nd chance if I need to move to something larger in the future. (I'd prefer the…
I couldn't agree more with this statement. I just had an X1 with the sport package as a loaner for a week and seeing how my last car was a Forrester, the comparison is fitting. I really enjoyed the X1 with the twin turbo 3.0 liter I6. It's funny because in comparison to an X3 from a few years ago, the new X1's seem a…
A lot of the parts are interchangeable.
