If I trade in my 535 I am seriously considering the Infiniti FX50 or an X5 50. I love my wife's FX50, but I prefer the BMW engineering that carries through everything they build. It'll be a tough choice...although one is much cheaper than the other.

That was rather poetic and also a very realistic portrayal of how we have all likely felt at one point or another.

Seeing how Infiniti dropped the V8 version entirely from the FX50, I could see the used market retain it's value very well if not increase in value.

I've driven an X1 for a week as a loaner, and they really aren't bad at all. Really enjoyed the drive (if not a bit louder than I'm used to) Liked the engine note and you can hear the turbo's as well.

My wife and I ended up with an '09 Infinity FX50 and I went with an '09 BMW 535. I've put a piggy back ECU in by Burger Motor Sports that changes everything. It's how the car really should have come. The X1 makes me want to give the X3 a 2nd chance if I need to move to something larger in the future. (I'd prefer the

I couldn't agree more with this statement. I just had an X1 with the sport package as a loaner for a week and seeing how my last car was a Forrester, the comparison is fitting. I really enjoyed the X1 with the twin turbo 3.0 liter I6. It's funny because in comparison to an X3 from a few years ago, the new X1's seem a

A lot of the parts are interchangeable.

I would be seriously tempted to trade in my '09 BMW 535 for a '06- '08 Manual XT .

My 2009 535. A quick Cobb tune or JB4 upgrade and you're close to 375 HP before any other supporting mods. Lot's of people pushing a lot of power out without rebuilding engines or transmissions.

I always thought the windows needed to remain open in a lot of racing series due to safety concerns in regards to exiting the vehicle in an emergency situation. (If I'm wrong then ignore the following question)

Imagine the FX50 with two doors, manual, and a bed!
