For me it's simple. I've not read the books, but saw every movie. But I can't tell them apart. The titles offer barely a clue to me what happened in each. I just found them all dreadfully boring in their sameness.

My takeaway was "Black Widow meets Blade Runner". So…yeah.

I always heard it as more an attempt (by Lucas?) for her to have an old-fashioned Hollywood Mid-Atlantic dialect, rather than straight-up English accent.
