Game Grumps had something similar happen a couple of times. Some of their videos got claimed by a guy who downloaded Game Grumps videos and reuploaded them on his own channel.

It’s all automated. These kinds of cases have to be exposed simply so that they can clean up their algorithms so that the problems don’t happen in the future.

This just shows how much Google is corporate BS. The only reason the videos are getting marked is because a bigger name uploaded it. It makes it seem like anything that has a copyrighted name can take anyone’s work and upload it to get the credit instead of the people who put time and effort into something.
