I also got the sense it was a quick burn-off. Two episodes this week, and two next week = end of season. Its AMC ratings seem quite good, though: good enough (with UK Channel 4's) to get renewed IMO. Perhaps AMC has "too many" other upcoming shows, or ones expected to pull higher ratings?
