Well, the show is trying to pull back too, except it probably realizes that trying to be all dark and broody doesn't really work, and taking a leaf out of Flash's book, they're trying to more comic-booky it. Whatever the case, Amell is a highlight—no camp, no hammy acting, no cryface.
Maybe Vandal Savage is the leader of H.I.V.E. He'd scare even Dahrk.
I mentioned it only because it reminded me how the Borg in Star Trek TNG would "adapt" to the phaser frequencies and Worf would have to put the phaser on a rotating modulation to try and overcome Borg shielding. {shrugs} :)

Well, there's always next decade. Nobels are usually delayed a lot, especially the science ones. :(

Ok. Points.

Why thank you sweetie. :)
Ok. Points.
You have just solved a huge plumbing problem in this universe. :D
In the comics, Barry was the terminally slowpoke lazy boyfriend who always made the "pretty newshen" Iris wait for her dates. They obviously did not each other when they were growing up, and Iris' father was Professor Ira West, an absent-minded genius scientist-inventor, and not Detective Joe West, a wordly-wise…
Technically, when Jay was created (circa 1940), there was no multiverse, and Jay's universe—the Golden Age one—was the only one around. It was only about twenty years later that Gardner Fox came up with Flash #123 (Flash of Two Worlds) and he got the *Two-Earth* theory going. Earth-3, and the rest of the Earths,…
No it didn't. But that bit was not in the main Crisis storyline either. It might have been Marv Wolfman's idea, true, but it wasn't revealed until Secret Origins Annual #2 in 1988.
