I take it that's a "nope", then.

Because I love/own Mirror's Edge and Beyond Good and Evil, your comment has convinced me to check out Transistor and Remember Me. Thanks!

Add to that the fact that in Team Fortress 2, both corporations are actually run by the same overlords who pit each division against each other, and that particular dystopia gets even more depressing.

You know what the Fresh Prince says. "Parents just don't understand."

No, it's really not. It's another order entirely.

Seriously, seriously good job. And good for moving away and refusing to subject your family to their corrosive influence.

Your mother sounds exactly like mine. It's so frustrating to be told that the beatings I got for no reason other than I liked to read were all fake, as was the temporal lobe sclerosis I later developed from all the head trauma from having my head smashed into the brick walls. Instead, "that never happened, you're

Oh my god, this is my family. This is my family. This is my mother, and her mother, and my father.

Are we related?

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT right on the money.

Yeah, seriously.

Your story has absolutely nothing to do with how most pizza guys behave on the job, or with this article. But thanks for the story showing us how humans can be stupid enough to host a party for kids, and dickish enough to eat somebody's pizza delivery order while delivering it. That sucks.

I won't say the game doesn't have its issues (the Alien seems to be attached to Amanda Ripley via rubber band, for one) but it is absolutely worth a playthrough or two. It builds atmosphere with gusto, all the way from the UI to the tiny details on the various computer screens. Also, the DLC that places you in the

Oh holy crap. Sounds like TAY has gone to seed; I've never been a fan of mob rule or abuse of power, and that sounds like both at once. I'm sorry you were treated like that, but it's good to see your work on the main site; I've always enjoyed it.

Whaaaaat why'd you get banned? (And please do explain what you meant about the camera)

You know what, in an era where people are remaking games ten seconds old with just a few higher definition textures, I would actually love a remake of Ghosts that fixed its problems and got it right, because in a number of ways, both the single and multiplayer as well as co-op, all had some good, and more importantly

I have a feeling a big reason why so many separate parts of the game were completely rubbish messes, was because of the very, very old technology. When did Quake 3 come out? Late 1999. So they were releasing a game based on fourteen year old technology, which they very obviously hadn't kept up to date, and had allowed

Can you go into a little detail about what you meant, regarding the camera? (Or did you write about it elsewhere? Haven't been on Kotaku/TAY in awhile)

Honestly, I had no idea that it even WAS released for consoles! So sad ;(

I liked the concept of the campaign in Ghosts, but it was so so poorly done that it made me angry. Stephen Lang, and the space station missions, were the only good things about that game; Brandon Roth's voice acting was terrible and seemed phoned in. And all the scripting and AI problems... oy.
