I can't promote this enough.
I can't promote this enough.
Seriously. WHY DID YOU SELL THEM, VIRGIN?! WHYYYY
What didn't you like about Red Alert 3? I was wary of C&C because they fucked with C&C so hard until it became Tiberium Wars, and then they cancelled Renegade 2 and the Tiberium FPS/RTS game, so I never felt the need to go and buy RA3 because I got the impression the Westwood-driven love of campy, pulp fiction and…
I know, these days when I think of "indie game" the thing that consistently comes to mind is "platformer". I wonder if platformers are the easiest games to make for a small, self-funded studio. I realize creating tons of 3D assets takes a lot of work, but so does stuff like voxel art (which, yeah, is also 3D) which…
This sounds pretty grool! So the DLC isn't just a bunch of MP maps, then, but also Spec Ops missions?
I know achievements are supposed to be specific, but this is beyond nuts. I haven't found them, but I almost always play Black Ops Zombies (not Black Ops II) alone, so there's also that. PC player, and I'm the only one of my friends who plays video games that aren't Pokemon or Katamari Damacy.
Aaaand I realized that only after I posted D:
Nope, but I got the feeling you were trying to be a dick. Sincerely respond!
What? What does being European or Christian have to do with anything? You can be whatever you like, still doesn't change the facts. Nor was I talking about exceptions to the rule— of course there are going to be exceptions, even in patriarchal societies. Plus one for a good try at not understanding, though.
Those are really silly reasons— if your complaints are that few people can actually write a good female lead, that's less a problem of female leads, and more a problem of few games with compelling leads in general. And the voice acting— that's, like, your opinion, man. I thought Palmer was fine, and her voice was all…
They already made one in Rome— Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
No, that's mostly a Euro-centric, Judeo Christian patriarchal way of thinking. That's not how it went all over the world.
Or the main character should be transgendered!
Yeah, I'm really interested in seeing Assassin's Creed in ancient India— the entire subcontinent, so modern India, Pakistan, Burma, Bhutan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, all that. There's already plenty of Ancient Aliens/Chariots of the Gods lore about that time and area, and it's a highly unusual setting.
All the more reason to make the next main game with a female lead.
That's not because the game had a female lead— that's a truly moronic conclusion to draw. Did you note what platform it was on?
Woo! Say no more, say no more ;)
Yikes. That sounds very unfun. It says a lot for "achievement addiction," though.
That is immediately interesting to me— shooting things within a context is a lot more fun for me than just shooting things for a score.
Is there any second screen functionality when you play single player? (and yeah— I hate when the only way to play co op or competitive multiplayer is split-screen. it's the worst, and also randomly disorienting)
