That’s 2018 in a nutshell, isn’t it? “I don’t know much about this thing, but let me educate you on it anyway.”

Lemme tell you somethin’, zero gay frog encounters since I watched one of his videos that one time. Coincidence? I think not.

I adiagree strongly with the premise that I believe many commenters have stated about Facebook’s policies.

Pulled from the top of my head:

I don’t know much about FB private groups, as I am not on FB. But beyond search results for suggested groups (which can be tailored if needed), does any of the content they spew leak out into the general population? is the group entirely self contained, or do they cross pollinate with other aspects and users of FB?

I think the best part of the PS2 is how much possibility was being hinted at for the future, and having at least a piece of that potential is what made the best games so exceptional.
Cinematic storytelling with great gameplay enhancing old franchises, come on over Final Fantasy.
Diversity and unique gameplay

Maybe the last video game console that gave gamers complete game package without patches to patch the incomplete works. Abayo, PS2 official service!

Peter, nobody is fooled.

Well I lived there for years, and especially around South San Francisco and Oakland I heard the term enough times. I hadn’t actually heard it said before I moved out there in the bay area for school. Most people did anime though, I just heard Japanimation pop up enough times to remember it.

I agree with you, the PS2 was the peak of what we think of as console games.

I tend to agree with you, the PS2 era is probably the last one where we really owned our games entirely. There were few games that were online-only, and all the games that had an online component as well as single player had to function without online access because most people didn’t even have the PS2 network

I might be in the minority on this, and maybe it’s just my age, but I really think gaming peaked in a lot of ways with the PS2. It was the first generation to offer online play, but there were still so many great games that weren’t dependent on that or DLC to enjoy that you can still pick up and play them 10-15 years

This is what made it a must-have. Everybody needed to get a DVD player back then. And the PS2 played DVDs and PS2 and PS1 games, for the going price of a normal DVD player. It was a no-brainer and easily what helped propel it to the #1 spot of best-selling consoles of all time.

Honestly plenty of people I met, especially from California, used that term to describe anime, with no ill intent or insult meant.

I remember the biggest thing about the PS2 when it launched was the fact it played DVDs. It was arguably the best DVD player on the market for quite sometime.

PS2 was the first platform I owned where my collection entered double-digits. I don’t have every hit game on it, but it had such a broad range of quality game titles I still bought 38 games for it, from Jak to Ratchet to Burnout to Prince of Persia to SSX to Sly.

Did that dude really say Japanimation?

Explain bankruptcy.

I still love "Never Been" by Wiz Kalifa. Sampling Crono Trigger, it still is an amazing song.
