I don't think anyone calls cut on live television.

Is that a new stereotype?
When he was basically stammering different players' names (yet still making sense to the guy he was talking to), I felt like the point of the sketch was "haha conversations about sports aren't very intelligent."
I've never seen this show before. But holy shit that was hilarious. What a weird tone.
B99 has already proved itself to be a consistently great comedy, but it's interesting to compare it to shows like The Office and P&R, because it lacks some heart in comparison. The characters are great, and it's fun to see them interact, but could you ever be as emotionally invested in Peralta, Gina, Holt, Terry, etc…
This episode was just awful. A few laughs, but every sketch was flawed and mostly unfunny. Worst episode this season by far. (I liked Miley's a lot, somehow.)
…complete with Kenan Thompson.

(That's right, I run a forum and wiki dedicated to the Prevue Channel. The Internet is a weird place.)
Comcast's guide is very old software, from the mid '90s. It was originally called TV Guide On Screen, then Prevue Interactive, then TV Guide Interactive. In 2004, they released a new version, called i-Guide. And it hasn't really changed since.
Haha. You jest, but… the TV Guide Channel is the successor to the Prevue Channel, which showed previews for movies and TV shows along with the listings. In the '80s and '90s, before the Internet and powerful computer graphics, this was an interesting technical challenge. And for some reason, I have spent a /lot/ of…
@avclub-5e7e49d9ac705cfa3a4ec1b2b4692404:disqus Yeah, many of these are provided by the TV Guide Network itself, which was originally a technology/communications company (UVSG) until it merged with TV Guide Magazine in 1999. A small amount of that engineering organization still exists, and they build the hardware and…
@avclub-14e4cee178d88fb9aa346dbcc11f2873:disqus And Kenan Thompson, too! (Well only as a guest in the pilot, but whatever: http://www.youtube.com/watc… at 3:48)
Haha I thought of The Amanda Show too. "Bring in the dancing lobsters!"
Definitely isn't. Listen to this week's opening next to last week's. They're clearly both the same guy.
Yeah. He gets the voice pretty good, but it's obviously not Pardo from the start. The sub (are we sure it's Darrel Hammond?) says "It's Saturday Night Live" much quicker and pronounces a much harder "r" in "Fred Armisen."
@avclub-85203ae86f2de2662ca5b6d614fbe495:disqus , the show is called /Saturday Night/ /Live/. Weekly live episodes basically defines this show.
I liked it; it felt more like that was itself the joke. Like, obviously Pandora has a control room where people monitor individual categories of music, wink wink nudge nudge comedy hahahahahahahahaha.

Not sure about this. I'd definitely watch The Linksys Kid though.
