Back when a girl that looked like Nimarata wouldn’t have been going to the WHITE  schools...

Nimarata seems to exemplify a lot of people in the South Asian community who desperately yearn for reassurance that, when push comes to shove, they’ll be thought of as white.

“We condemn Hitler’s actions, and are therefore dissolving our organization and handing over our assets to the ACLU.”

In our college dining hall, there was a version that featured Italian-spiced sauce and a cap of melted provolone that was called a Stromboli. They were messy and utterly perfect.

I’ve enjoyed reading a lot of books about the history of the royal family since The Crown came out on Netflix. While the history has been interesting, the sad truth about this family is that most of them just aren’t all that bright.  Harry is one of them, all right.

Maybe it’s because they just... aren’t all that interesting?

Soooo...  How’s cooking for a group when one can’t eat dairy, one avoids gluten, one is vegetarian...

Both Waterworld and The Postman struck me as efforts where they got to a certain point and said “The money’s gone, we have to wrap this up.”  Costner’s done some solid work but had some awful clinkers, too.  Postman was an excellent sci-fi book, though.

Eggs on burgers should be over medium, thank you.

How about those runny scrambled eggs I keep reading about as “the best scrambled eggs” and/or “the ONLY way to make good scrambled eggs.”  I like mine cooked, thanks.

“AH DO NAWT WANT YOUR WIFE!”

Sharing an opinion with Nina Turner does NOT mean you aren’t on the fringe.

Jeebus. Hepburn, a great friend of her father, FAMOUSLY didn’t like her.

It’s like those FLDS women who all dress like 1940's women.  Guess what their “Elder” found stimulating...

It says something about Jamie that his mom could have produced him with such a boorish clod, then settled down with a completely poised and centered fellow who treats her and everyone else with such good-humored respect.

Reading between the lines, every one of his publishing efforts should be subtitled “Please Love Me, Daddy!”

I think she’s past the point where she can be tarred with any malign intent. She just can’t perceive of herself as anything but a Senator, and you KNOW her Republican colleagues will be playing her like a drum unless her staffers are vigilant.

I don’t want to watch the whole thing but I’ve replayed that scene of the Fascist’s death (“Your son will never know your name!”) over and over again.

But Paul is a useless creep.  Connolly is not.

Prove it. EMILY’s List endorsed her, along with a host of other candidates whose lack of progressive bona fides seemed less important than their gender.
