Someone I know who has no problem discussing anything in public once posted the following on Facebook: “The best part about my new job is that I live close enough that I can go home to poop where no one will hear!”

Consider your male colleagues. Do you think they hesitate to shit in public restrooms?

I cordially detest the whole sitcom template, but there are some that rise above it, and which I have enjoyed; and Murphy Brown is close to the top of the list. It was inspired stuff.

I loved that show. Remember the Vice President was spazzing out about the end of civilization because she was a single mother?

The biggest complaint I have about journalism in the Trump era is the complete lack of investigation into exactly where the hair on his head comes from. We can see the end result, but every time I try to follow a particular comb track someplace to find it’s origin I’m left at a dead end. Someone needs to get on this.

Murphy Brown isn’t remembered as much as it should. A 24 year old I work with didn’t even know what it was! (uglycry)

“What you are experiencing is called a teachable moment. It is called a gift. It is called a humbling. It is called Jesus, I come to thee. It is called an awakening. It is called a growth edge. It is called hope.

James Woods doesn’t think a 24 year old dating a 17 year old is bad. He thinks a 24 year old guy dating a 17 year old guy is bad.

So not only does Tamblyn’s description of the encounter ring true, she follows/juxtaposes it with this;

I love Serena Williams so much. I love that she is just doing her thing totally unbothered while Shriekadopa tries to steal the headlines with something that happened over a decade ago. I hope Serena keeps putting out baby pics and training videos whenever Maria opens her yap.

It might be best for you to put iron bars on your windows, bubble wrap yourself for safety, and to order everything from Amazon. The rest of us New Yorkers and Philly-ites will take our bodegas, kthanxbai.

I saw this comment and then yours and had to rush over here. People are wild out here. Terrified of a corner store.

Damn girl.

Whole Foods and Amazon are bad too. Lots of bad stuff in this world.

Christ, there are Beckys in the ‘burbs who are harder than you.

It is interesting to note that when my 8th grader and her girls get soda after middle school they are doing something that terrifies you.

Or you could buy your sandwiches in the middle of the day. #planningahead
