Isn’t Meryl Streep saying she had no idea, if she didn’t know, I don’t know what to say.

I think he kind of says “...because I was a shitty person.”
I initially read “caffeine runs” as meaning “diarrhea from too much coffee”, and became a little concerned....
I find a lot more men are anxious about approaching women lately. There was this dude, who have the same “ caffeine runs” as me. We see each other at Starbucks all the time..... this went on for 6 months .... I would smile , offer lingering glares but he still didn’t approached me .... he’s tall, handsome and could…
I thought the brands were doing the burning like someone was paying big companies to insult women...I was totally down to see what creative insults Johnson and Johnson or Nabisco had come up with...
There are plenty of black women in perfectly healthy D/s relationships who use terminology like that and get tattoos or brands to mark their relationships.
The name itself is odd. Why name your “love and submission” cult after heartburn medicine - misspelled, no less? (probably to avoid lawsuits)
This is an EXTREMELY good point and I wish the series could focus on that and the economic bias in our society.
I’m guessing with the sex and starvation diets for chosen women, dude has a type.
I’m sorry you went through that, it sounds awful.
I have handled hundreds of cases over 14 years as a parents’ attorney and as a guardian ad litem/legal counsel for the child. I can count on one hand the number of cases that I thought that CYS shouldn’t be involved or wrongfully placed a child. Maybe it’s not the same everywhere, but the standard to remove a child…
I’m a little confused by this comment... are you really comparing the choice to get a tattoo to being accidentally burned?
i too am a burn survivor but not NEARLY to the extent that you were. i’m so sorry you went through that, and i hope you’re healed.
I’m not even kidding, when I read that the first thing I thought was “that’s definitely gotta be some white women bullshit right there.”
“The sisterhood would comprise circles, each led by a “master” who would recruit six “slaves,”
you mean, “how do men get such a warped sense of power and entitlement to start a group like this, i’ll never understand” right? surely you don’t mean “man these women are stupid for joining / staying in this group”.
I hate to say it, but I agree. I do believe that CPS is overly focusing on children from non-white households, but I believe this means they need to start paying just as much attention to white “good” families as well they do to minority families. The only article in this series I really sympathized with was the…
The word you’re looking for is:
While I agree, I think that minority women are viewed as less competent parents than white parents so while a stranger that happens upon a couple of young white children in a park unsupervised may not report it as neglect that may not be the case if they are children of color? This is where we do kind of turn into the…
I can sympathize- it must feel terrible, and I can’t imagine- but I still think CPS has done what’s right in most all of these cases. I’d rather see them be overzealous than let a situation escalate.
