i think they do deep and angsty surprisingly well. i've felt my emotions well up for the characters in this show more than i've felt for real people in my life. There's a certain ringing true that comes from sharp observations that makes this show very,very dear to many fans' hearts

Also, does Mindy only wear glasses when she's doing surgery? What's the deal with that? i mean does she change out of her contacts into glasses for surgery? as a glasses wearing person who hates contacts, i feel vindicated if this is common :D

yeah mindy's mom really should be a bigger part of her life, especially now she has a baby, and she's told them who the father is. It makes sense that her supportive mom would be her greatest source of strength not her cranky ,difficult mother-in law to be. Please MK, show us Mindy bonding with her mom!

i don't understand why chris messina leaving, if he is leaving, is such a big issue to argue about. Love CM's chemistry with MK but i'm watching for Mindy. i'm interested in her hilarious take on the world and the clever writing, not in the male romantic lead. The show will continue to be hilarious with or without CM…
