And this is why the WEC is better for manufacturers; not only do they have more technical freedom, but their developments actually do trickle down into their road cars. Porsche have said that their new flat-4 engines have quite a bit of influence from the 919 (even though it has a V4).

Thanks for doing this, Martin! F1 is supposed to be the pinnacle of racing and technology. Many people seem to feel that WEC is taking its place in both regards. WEC has turned into a 6 or 24 hour sprint, whereas F1 has turned into a two hour tire saving procession. What are your feelings on the two series?

I’m not a Lightning fan (go Avs!), but they have a big following and are a great organization.

That doesn’t give Imama the right to keep throwing punches while the refs are there, nor does it give him the right to spit on the goalie.

Yep. Canadian major junior hockey maximum age is 20.

Why the fuck are so many pro athletes legitimately trying to hurt each other? Suspend him for the rest of the season to set a fucking example. Wait, this is the NFL, they won’t do shit.

Usually the, “Kessel is fat, LOL,” comments aren’t original or just aren’t funny, but this was fantastic.

I’m willing to bet that making F1 actually exciting again would put more asses in seats.

I’d definitely pay that for a car that’s obviously been cared for and with service records. The /GT2 engine is incredibly solid. Too bad I don’t have that kind of money.

Actual competition? Are you watching recordings of pre-2011 F1 races and getting confused?

Not as satisfying as I was hoping, but it’s something!

What an idiot. At least he didn’t act like he was innocent, so, that’s something.

And here’s the TS040.

The 911 GT1s are very underappreciated cars. Too bad they don’t have the 1997 and 1998 variants there!

That’s amazing to think about; it’s been 21 years since we’ve had a driver death in F1.

Yeah, but what if you have a road trip planned? You can’t just exit off of the highway and fill up in 10 minutes. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for phasing out the ICE, too, but electric cars do have their limitations currently.

I’ll start out by saying that I grew up playing with Kessel, so take my biased opinion with a grain of salt.

Do it, it’s fantastic! And this is coming from a Wisconsinite.

You make a great point (also not sarcasm)!

Instead of asking, “why is it OK when THEY use it?” we should be asking why it’s OK for ANYONE to use it.
