"It's all fair enough about the battles, but how did the people actually FEEL"

I like how the sweat shop is breaking up the the racial cliques and makes them interact without the perceived separation between those groups. It allows for some conversations that wouldn't be happening the same way in the usual settings.

I also thought that in spite of the general cruelty of the dad's words about Boo's "costume", he said something significant: "No one gets to be themselves all of the time." This to me spoke of the resentment that many members of society, who accept and adapt to that rule, feel towards those who choose to go against

Nice to see Huck reunited with his family except I have a bad feeling either Kim or Javi of both may end up dead.

I have the faint hope that the next episode will open with Olivia holding the guy at gunpoint after having stormed back in and picked up the gun while he actually turned his back toward her to shut the door from the inside. A girl can dream.

Except for the detail where she is making herself the ruler of the united Earth Empire. She isn't "uniting" it for the people, but for herself. That makes it a whole lot less romantic in my eyes (although that is probably still how she sees it).
Also, Bataar Jr. didn't really seem to be "down with it" - or he wouldn't

Which is a promise that she basically gave herself, and she is the one who would benefit the most from its fulfillment, since she always intended to rule over the united Earth Empire. This detail makes all the difference. If she had planned all along to unite the Earth Empire and then let it be ruled by the lawful

And as soon as he said that, my brain went all "you're gonna miss me by my walk, you're gonna miss me by my talk, oh - you're gonna miss me when I'm gone!" I knew then that my brain had lost all respect for Rowan.

"I don't think Connor is a good representation of a gay man"

Did you see him wince when she said that? Lol Potus has gotten used to a whole new style since the 70s.

…the kind that reeks.

Those are all good points, but if Vee was supposed to be read as someone with a psychological disorder, then I would have liked it if they had established that for sure, for instance by showing the beginnings of that disorder in her childhood, like they did with Suzanne. It would have changed my reading of her

I still think she is not being vindictive so much as she is being selfish, but agreed on the "super dick move".

It is a new low for Piper personally, I agree.

Germany is generally rather tolerant towards homosexuality in that it's not illegal and most people have opened their minds towards it, but that doesn't mean that lots of people don't have that General's (or whatever rank he had) mindset anymore, especially when it is about members of their own families as opposed to

I don't think it was anything that Red did at all. I think Boo is just an opportunist who saw that Vee's influence was growing stronger and stronger and would soon surpass Red's, and she thought sucking up to Vee would get her an extra special place in the sun once the power shift was complete.
At first I thought she

I think she said that to Larry to give him an incentive to take action and rat Alex out for her. She was appealing to his vindictive side, which didn't work because he saw right through it and realised that her real reason was to have Alex back in prison with her.

Then how do you know that her "avenue into crime was a cold, rational decision"?

Do we even know what exactly Vee's avenue into crime was? In my mind, all her flashbacks are mainly about how she treats other people, not about the beginnings of her criminal career. I don't remember seeing her in a time that was explicitly pre-crime and then transitioning into it… Remind me?

I don't like Larry, but in fairness, he didn't actually cheat. He didn't sleep with Polly until after Piper not only cheated on him first but also told him she loved Alex, and after he subsequently broke up with her.
