Just picked up a 97 civic sedan that im restoring to its original glory...all manual. My 4 yr old asked what the handle was on the door. I told him I could not wait to show him what that magical handle does.

I think it is up to us the consumers to stop wanting all this blind spot, self driving, lane departure, bi-led self adjusting headlights, auto high beam junk on the cars we buy. Im a 36 yr old, 17 yr toyota parts employee at our bodyshop and it is getting ridiculous. $1400 our COST for a freaking tundra headlight... I

WO BRO....I woke up to a leaf on my car windshield here in The mountains of northern San Diego...It was crazy.

Allthough it Took me a second to see what they actually were, I think the color scheme is what makes it look more phallic like. I think if they were out of the bag it would be more obvious

That would be a perfect 24 hr of lemons car!!! Gimme it!! $450?

You know what the word approximately means right?I don’t think the difference between 17 and 22 is that much of a difference. And neither one said it is a definite measurement. Both were approximates. But according to google the Eiffel tower does not weight near what he said.. so still wrong.

You should be dan bilzerian’s friend then.

I’ll be honest, My main first reason for buying the ridge was convenience and necessity. I sold my 4x4 96 ranger 6in lift with 33's because I was needing a more “adult” vehicle in my life but still needed to haul my motorcycles,go camping etc. So the day of I begged my mother to sell me her frontier that just sits in

^^Toyota employee here. @someoneatacura is completely correct.

“5K is standard for most larger crossovers and small SUVs that consider Towing as a secondary need.”

Trust me, the split rear fold up seats come in REAl handy, and the front seats folt backwards almost completely flat as well....

Yes! Isn’t it the american way to live in excess! Screw settling for something that does the job well. It needs to overachieve on everything!! WE WANT MOAR! WE WANT MOAR!

Only? 5k is pretty normal tow weight for normal things. My 06 tows cars perfectly fine.

Exactly! Who cares what you drive. Get your ass off the couch and have fun!

My purpose would not be for rockcrawling. It would be more for side steps, and protection against rocks and stuff on the side of the trail cause the ridge is a wide a$$. My design will be close to that in having the bracket with the holes in it, and on the tubes that connect the flat bracket to the main step part,

With the lift and 265/70/17 MT’S..I get about 16 ish daily and the other day towing I got 12. I am a very heavy foot. 182k

I envy you and the areas you get to explore. If that was near-ish me..I would def not own a ridgeline to do this stuff. Probably another slow day here at work so Im going to get watching!!

Now playing

Yes you can armor a uni-body. I plan on building side steps/ sliders soon. It has a boxed section just like the tacoma it is just a little more tucked up so I will be using that for main mount then the pinch weld for a little support. Every inch of underneath my ridge has been scratched ,gouged, banged. I had to build

Exactly. Big rocks are its weakness...unless you don’t mind body damage...Yes im still bitter..My friend is a horrible spotter.

The tacoma surpasses the ridgelines capability in “rock-crawling” But in the realm of “most off-roading” it has far surpassed my expectations. My whole ford loving family gave me crap for purchasing it...after driving it,I have loaned it to a few members for long trips and have embarassed them out on the trails. For
