Allow me to point out that in the first season alone we already have three mother killings, not onscreen but referenced.

When that happened to me I changed it from what I thought was correct (sunny/cloudy/etc.) unknown rain/no rain. After about a week of inputs it get closer to being correct.
I always thought it was a little heartbreaking when she realizes Wart wasn't a squirrel.
Yeah. Everyone knows you need to wear glasses to really hide a secret identity.
i was really confused about that too. I could have sworn Cisco got his powers back
If the speedforce is dying where is Godspeed getting his speed from? Shouldn’t all speedsters be losing their speed the same way Barry is?
Wow, I’d forgotten ‘Ticket To Heaven’ but now I’m recalling how much I liked it, especially Saul and a crazily intense Kim Cattrall. Of course, I saw it way back when it was released, in those strange days when being kidnapped by a cult seemed unnervingly possible.
Why you gotta go and waste Duella Dent like that?
Otherwise a decent episode as uninvested as I am in Sophie and Kate though just get Mary knowing out in the open already.
Mary pretty much confirmed Kate is Batwoman, tries to tease it out of her, then essentially offers Kate the chance to bring her on it when she’s ready. Mary is just The Best.
Thank you for writing these interviews out again, rather than just using video.
I forgot one thing - I think that cop Khan killed was Ryan Choi’s mum. She got a nice moment with Ava but Legends still failed to save her and then there was the whole photo of her son thing. And this being 1997 would make him just the right age.
The white dove behind Khan was my WTFN moment of the episode. I hooted, I confess.
Other great movie reference, as Genghis Khan entered in slow-mo, a white dove flew across the frame behind him, like in every John Woo Hong Kong movie and probably the other ones too
I loved all the references to the Hong Kong movies, John Woo (that dove killed me) and Matrix (Behrad can stop the bullets). It was beautiful - the two gun shooting, Mexican standoff, the scooter gang. But the best part was the Star Trek scream. This episode had everything.
I think the showrunner has come out and said that they’re aren’t going to ever use to adapt the Identity Crisis storyline so it would appear to be your classic Arrowverse name drop.
Fun comics trivia:
Yeah, this scenario is literally one of the only times I can’t handwave “Crisis put us all on the same Earth” because for crimefighting and whatever, sure — Superman’s off planet, Flash is doing some Speed Force shit or whatever, etc.
Since Avalance is too good to break up, Kate needs to ease Nyssa’s loneliness.
I’d list off all the reasons why Mary was awesome tonight, but there’s not enough time and space. So I’ll just reiterate: Mary is awesome.
