Pretty sure the 2017 Miata does not look like the 2009 Miata.

I agree. Once the coal industry gets back up to speed in a dozen or so sparsely-populated counties in bumpkinland it will certainly raise the standard of living across the nation.

Yet this one isn’t nicely done. Ratty seat, no HVAC at all, and the sloppy stickers that have no business being there in the first place. That’s time and money to get the frankencar out of it and get it right.

The expensive one has a 427 LS7 and the car is in, literally, perfect condition with lots of other high performance parts.

Right... like even if you modify a base Mustang GT to be faster then a Shelby... it still is not a Shelby...

M badges on non M cars, Shelby badges on non Shelby Mustangs, even Type-R badges on Civics irk me

Yeah, the color scheme is homage. People in the know would spot the lack of badging and respect it for what it is. Making it look ‘real’ with the badges is just faking it. If you took this to cars n coffee a Mustang would T-bone you on general principles.

It’s not even an homage. It’s just a beat-up old Nova with a 396 and a four speed. And a badly-applied sticker kit.

CP due to the fact i wouldnt want to have to explain to everyone “no, no, no, not a real Yenko, but its a homage” I would rather it just be a clean Nova.... then again, i still wouldnt pay nearly 15 grand for a Nova, but thats me.

Who mods leased cars????

I think the worst part of this story is that you leased a Neon.

A K&N Filtercharger performance air filter for my mom’s 1996 Toyota Camry LE, 4-cyl. Did nothing but liberate my dumb teenage wallet of $40.

In winter, when my hoses will freeze, my buckets will freeze, my power washer will freeze, and my butt will freeze, I will use a car wash to keep my car clean. Stating that I don’t care about my car because I use a car wash is a hideously stupid conclusion to draw.

The other issue with hand washing is that it doesn’t clean the undercarriage of the car. What does that mean if you live in the midwest? R-U-S-T.

To be fair, there are plenty of people for whom hand washing isn’t always an option.

Yesterday people were claiming the citation was a good deal because, “what else are you going to get in good condition for less than $4k.”

One of the big differences in how the banks model auto vs home loans though is that everyone expects autos to drop in value, even in a normal environment. Whereas with houses the banks expect the value to increase.

Unfortunately it’s not to me. The average American carries thousands of dollars worth of credit card debt each month. Banks and lenders make it too easy to be in debt up to your eyeballs these days.

Certain STD’s are better then FCA...

Ford is better than FCA, period.
