Yes, very helpful advice for the millions of people who lease and will continue to do so. Telling people not to lease is like telling people not to have sex. It’s going to happen, people are going to do it. It’s my job to make sure they have the most information possible to they get the best deal they can.

sheesh...he didnt even coach them for a minute, man.

what do i win?

“Don’t waste my time- only one of us can do that to the other, and I’m calling dibs.”

Crack Pipe. Too many issues, but the need for new coil overs and a mystery CEL that will probably be a PITA to extinguish given the cars non-turbo origins, stand out as the deal breakers. Well into CP-land.

CEL.

Just before he wrote about not wasting his time he wrote this:

First I get to the phrase “heavily modded” and I said, “uh oh,” and then I got to the CEL part. If you’re going to ask $8000 for a 17-year-old car from an non-luxury make, the least you can do is fix whatever is lighting up the check engine light.

I appreciate his honesty, but the issues the car presents with make it a CP at, well, pretty much any price. Right off the bat it needs a clutch master cylinder, which isn’t expensive or hard, but it’s something I have to do. It needs coilovers, which isn’t hard, but again, something I have to do. It needs a CEL

“Cold start issues” on a Subie boxer? Especially one that’s been modded? And with the laundry-list of other peculiarities? Uh, no. Nonononono.

Nothing. It’s worth nothing. You can quote me on that. I’m unimprezd.

CP on the car, but I want those wheels

Edit: Didn’t realize the malibu was still in front. Thought it was the Grand Am because of the resolution.

Obviously, brake checking someone at that speed is ridiculously unsafe and a major asshole move in any case. But still, I don’t see how it’s the brake-checkers direct fault here. Surely he caused her to be more

And Mary Barra was like “See, the Cobalt actually saved someone!”

I’m 6'2" as well and I can’t say legroom in a front seat has ever been a problem for me. Not even in the tiniest of tiny cars, like a 1970 Fiat 500. Rear legroom, sure. Shoulderroom, granted. Front headroom, yes. But front legroom? Nope.

I don’t know. At 6'1" and 33" inseam I fit into a BRZ and Fiesta just fine. Although in the FiST my shoulders are slightly behind the B pillar, which feels a bit silly.

Small cars aren’t dead, and we’ll have more of them when gas gets expensive again.

I have to say, I really enjoy the fact that Trump is constantly reminded that reality will not bend to his will. Things have been set in motion that are beyond his grasp. Witness, too, what’s happening with solar, which added way more

If a manufacture did decide to start lowering their fuel economy standards that would certainly be a competitive disadvantage against the manufacturers that chose to continue to press on and get better fuel economy.

While I love a soprt wagon especially with a manual 7 grand makes me pause as this thing could be a mecahnical ticking time bomb waiting to explode in your wallet. Caution is the word of the day. A reluctanct CP.
