It sounds pretty cheesy, but it’s also optional to activate on the Ioniq 5 N, so I can’t bother actually getting upset.

Who cares? I drove some BMW EV that let you pick themes for the car. Each one had a unique acceleration synthesized sound. I thought it was pretty cool. If people want it to sound like an ICE, who TF cares?

As long as it’s an option that can be turned off, I’m all for it. Let your freak flag fly.
