I’m in the same line of thinking. If it were the other side, I.. and probably everyone else here... would be thinking the other side is a train wreck of disillusioned whackjobs . However, if Trump had this large of a lead (almost 2M) and Hillary won the electoral, I’d understand them a bit more.

The US wouldn’t be torn apart by a recount then or now.

The truth is always worth it.

We are stronger as a country and a democracy if we investigate every anomaly and every discrepancy, because then we show our fellow citizens and our enemies that we notice when things are weird and we investigate. That’s how we prevent the next candidate from saying that votes were

No matter who asks for it, it’s just a recount of the same votes and, honestly, I don’t get why you don’t count paper votes like we do in Canada. It’s just as quick for getting results on election night, actually more precise and, most important of all, unhackable.

It is not “clear” at all that the 1960 election was stolen. It was a controversial election because it was so close.

Two reasons why he didn’t fulfill his promise to have her investigated: because there was nothing left to investigate, and no evidence of any wrongdoing. And because he can’t. Talking about it during the campaign served its purpose: cast enough doubt to cause her to lose some votes, then after the election is over,

The Republicans must be commended for not overdoing it with fixing the computer voting machines this time, with Trump only 7 points ahead. Bush beat Gore and later Kerry by 80 to 20 in some districts in Florida and Ohio, from what I recall.

This Thanksgiving I don’t have to go to my parents. I am going to my bestie’s (yeah, I used that word, come at me) instead where there is booze, they make me a veggie option and I can walk home. My Thanksgiving has a bit of glimmer.

Hmmm...I guess the UK has no problem referring to caucasians as terrorists when the situation warrants. What’s our (the US) excuse?

Yes. It was WI. RECOUNT!

I would say, “Is there any kind of evidence?”

Exactly.

While I agree that I too would roll my eyes and think “sore losers”, I wouldn’t object to a recount. It’s allowed for a reason. In this case a very, very, very, very, possibly good reason. If the recount still shows Trump the winner, then he and his neanderthals will be even more arrogant and obnoxious. Hard to

Yeah. Me, I live in DC. *Weeps.*

Obama and HRC said questioning the outcome BEFORE the election had even taken place was a problem. And at one point Obama drew the distinction between Drumpf’s stance and questioning a CLOSE election result. They (we) were on the right side of the argument then, and calling for an audit in something this close is a

I have pretty much lost all hope of escaping the Orange Fascist and quite literally believe this is the beginning of the end of our democracy but, here’s a few contact options in case anything matters anymore.

IDK if he really did force us to say that (though he’d now claim he did)— I feel like the Left said questioning results was totally democratic (and defended Al Gore in the process). They/we said only that what was undemocratic would be not ultimately accepting the results unless they were in our favor.

Was it Wisconsin that had several precincts that registered more votes for Trump than the total number of votes actually cast in the precinct?

Hahah are you being serious?
