If by “fantastic,” you mean “heart-wrenching.”

Oh, Doctor. I would have thought THIS was your favorite Titanic:

Not a medical professional either, but I think it could, though.

Yeah, I think we both agree that our culture should really quit putting out the narrative that jealously = love.

I remember sobbing as they explained why I MUST have a C-section or I could die. “But I didn’t read the chapters on C-sections!” I explained. I’m a preparer. And I didn’t prepare for that.

My doctor told me that she might gently hold the baby’s head as it was crowning and tell me not to push for a moment. If she did that, and I followed her instructions, I would likely not tear. She seemed pretty proud of her no tearing and no episiotomy record. She would not have actually PUSHED the baby back in,

So so lucky it didn’t cause permanent damage to the baby. (I don’t think— I didn’t see that in the article.) DAMN!

We don’t usually call it anything, but the evening starts like this:

My husband always thanks me. I’m like, dude! It wasn’t a favor! I think we both got something out of it! But thank you, too?

Ok. I understand what you’re saying. But I mean, my point isn’t that that way of thinking is literally incomprehensible to me. “I don’t get it” as in “that’s crazy” or “that’s fucked up” or “SMH.”

There are always going to be different levels of bad behavior, and it would be at the hotel’s discretion. If a guest is being disruptive and there is evidence and people are complaining about it, the hotel may kick the guest out.

I only used bibs during teething. So. much. drool.

I learned very quickly that my baby didn’t mind room temp or even coldish bottles. If I used formula, I would pour the little packet in the bottle (I got single-serve because we didn’t use formula much), shake it up with tap water, and voila. If it was breastmilk from the fridge, I would hold the plastic bag under a

Hard candy! My friend went though this. It sucks. And rice bread is fucking disgusting.

Didja have a first cassette tape? I did. Debbie Gibson Out of the Blue. My little sister got a CD player before I did. I needed to make sure that newfangled technology would be around for a while before I gave up my extensive cassette tape collection.

Now playing

Demon Knight. Love it! He’s a sexy demon. My favorite scene:

I’m sure that hotels don’t kick people out for doing drugs, lighting fires, running down the hall naked. Hotels kick people out for doing illegal things all the time, even if the police don’t arrest them.

Are you saying, your purpose was NOT to make their day brighter? You maybe just want to do your work? Huh. Weird.

Even more of a reason not to hug strangers and people you don’t know well. They might have a slight problem with it. Or they might be on the spectrum and have a huge problem with it, there’s no way to know. So if you don’t know a person well enough to know if they’re a hugger, maybe don’t hug them?

As I replied to the other person (sorry both their reply and my reply to them are gray), elected officials get removed for committing offenses all the time. Do I think anyone accused of anything should be kicked out? No. And if it’s a she-said-he-said situation, there’s probably not a way to have immediate recourse.
