As I said in my original post, it reduces women’s genitalia to a hole alone - which is the only important part of the female anatomy for men’s sexual pleasure. It limits how men see women’s bodies (and sexual pleasure) and even how women and girls see their own bodies.

Does the fact that it’s been used for a long period of time make it any less misogynistic and worthy of change? Your argument for its continued use could be applied to any number of words that have since been seen as horribly insensitive and abusive and fallen out of use as a result.
