Beat him on Saturday. This is my biggest tip: farm the raid up to Oryx on all your characters, then try to get one of them to as high a light as possible. You basically need most of your fireteam above 310 to really have a manageable shot at downing Oryx.

How has everyone been doing? We cleared it to Oryx fast, but found Oryx himself to be a real gear check. We were all 307+ and we couldn’t do enough DPS to kill the ogres and the Knights quickly enough to allow us to stagger Oryx.
