We loaded into it at 1:05 and signed off at 8. We downed the first boss but that's it. We didn't use any guides or strategies, purely worked our way through it blindly. Nabbed me a fusion rifle and sniper rifle so far!

You’re not. Don’t let the internet hate-storm get to you: hundreds of thousands of people are excited for it and will be playing week one. I’m not sure why everyone feels the need to hate on Destiny so much, but for all their talking there is a rather sizable community of dedicated players.
