PvP was an afterthought until House of Wolves, so I’m not sure how you figured Bungie has focused on the PvP. This expansion, yeah, but before this Crucible was a joke that dropped barely any rewards. Iron Banner was the only thing PvP had going and that was once a month. And even then, meh, it’s just hardcore Control.

I like being a rebel and running Voidwalker with Nothing Manacles. That’s my current setup: all Trials armor and Nothing Manacles. Looks great! That’s my main priority with Destiny armor these days. I just want it to look good!

Yeah, but you just compared exotics to purple primaries. Those are exotics for a reason. The Messenger is among the best PvP pulse rifles, for example.

That is completely incorrect about 90% being hunters. I’ve played enough to go flawless four times and I can tell you, there is a healthy mix of classes. All-titan fireteams aren’t uncommon.

It’s literally, by design, supposed to be the hardest encounter in the game. Skolas post-nerf is much easier than Crota Hard Mode when that came out. How much easier do you want it to be? The no checkpoint thing sucks, but it’s not a bad fight.

I don’t know, man. I had only done it once before, and I jumped into it again last week with my regular group that I do Trials with, and we banged out the entire thing in one hour. Skolas himself only took us three times. I would not really call it a slog, at this point.

It’s cake with the raised level cap. Cake. If you’re 34, find a group. I can be done in like 25 minutes. Crota is two-sworded easily by a 34 swordbearer.

To be honest, Destiny is a game where the last-gen consoles really show their age. I’d go with PS4/XB1 if at all possible.

It was a hotfix. They had a week each of solar, arc and void burn. After that, they removed burn modifiers, reduced his health, and made the waves of adds spawn on intervals instead of constantly.
