I don't necessarily find it outrageous. I just don't buy the map packs or whatever. Anyway, how would we go about "challenging" this? Bitching about it on a video game blog's commenting section does not count. The only other thing one can do is to not buy the shit in order to not support the practice. I already

Hey, asshole, I know it's fun to go around the Kotaku comments sections filling everyone in on your "Fight the Power" stance on DLC, but let's dial down the condescension and assumptions.

Pretty much. And, frankly, anybody who complains or whines about this is a fool. Who didn't expect this? Who didn't see it coming? It's been the norm for years now. I don't really have a problem with it at this point.

Uhhh, what weed is everyone smoking that they get headaches and shit? Really? Just smoke it, watch a funny movie or show and have some goddamn snacks. I feel like people overthink it. Call me a pothead, but I'm much more functional even when high as a kite on weed than after, like, four or five drinks at the bar.

Holy crap. I own basically all of these, and I only just realized that Napoleon is NOT an expansion of Empire. Woops!

GodDAMN it, Burneko. Weed and your column do not mix. After consuming the two at the same time, I found myself detoured on my way to Chipotle. That detour was the form of a very expensive trip to Whole Foods, and oh, hey, might as well grab some veal for tomorrow. And after that I figured why not stop at the wine

"Hi, I'm someone who prioritizes the politics of the video game industry in my life, since I have enough free time to care about that sort of thing since I have no real responsibilities. Furthermore, I like to click on articles about games I don't like to comment about why I don't like them, and I think this is

Go on most articles and while the article might be critical(except with telltale games) the comments are mostly positive.

Well it sounds like you had some trying times that are hopefully permanently over now. Good for you, dude, sounds like everything is looking up. Congratulations, and keep at it!

Congratulations, dude! A game purchase is definitely deserved.

I like how all the goddamn comments are people bitching about how this may affect The Wolf Among Us or bitching about how long it's been since the last episode. Jesus Christ, can you people shut the hell up? Sometimes there's just such negativity on this site, I can barely handle it.

I've been on the fence about it and just pulled the trigger and bought it last night. It's $20, and one dude made it so I figured what the hell? I really like it. It feels a lot more visceral, a lot more significant than SimCity. Your actions, strategies and decisions have real consequences, which is nice to see.

Whatevs. Bask in the internet superiority of making a subtle reference to a historical subject that only few will understand. There, don't you feel better? You should!

Aaaaand you deserve a promotion out of the grays for your "Croatoan" reference! History is my jam.

Sorry for your loss, and about the job :( I don't know if we've ever talked much, but I've seen you around posting stuff for ages, so we'll miss you, and we'll be here when you get back!

I bought a 3DS in late November, along with Pokemon and Zelda. I unfortunately haven't kept up with it. I'm pretty sure I haven't beaten half of Pokemon and I have beaten two or three temples/dungeons in Lorule in A Link Between Worlds. And I just bought Banished. And I WILL get Titanfall day 1. Ugh, fuck my

Same here. I read that and I was like...oh. So?

So, I don't usually watch videos of other people playing games. In fact, this was the first time I've ever done so.

Congratulations! You have gained perspective, and you are reasonable and not prone to jumping to conclusions.

I have no problems with this. I have dabbled in WoW since Vanilla, but I never commit for any length of time because I just do not have the patience or time to get into it. For those of you saying leveling is the best part, I respond by saying "Maybe for you!" For people like me, it's a bore, a slog. I enjoy it,
