People really like to buy shit for their hobbies. You see it in everything.

What you described is how it works in non unionized workplaces.

Indeed. Corruption will forever be a function of time and population size.

No. No it wont. 50% in 3 years? Thats not a thing, not even for the 1st gen Leaf.

You didn’t offend him, he’s just douching for stars.

The Corvette and NSX are quite distinct automobiles and I suspect are cross-shopped about as often as a Camaro and an M3.

He drove his Chevy to the levy, but regretfully, the levy was not dry.

I like the roofline on the Supra better than the Z but that is it. If they would have rounded the roof just a bit on the Z it would have been a perfect update of the 280.

if you think any modern car is underpowered you probably need to up your driving skills

Easier to park and $10K to $15K cheaper. If you don’t need more than 4k lbs of towing capacity, this would make a lot more financial sense once you get past the whole “not a real truck” thing.

Maybe because it weighs 300 lbs more (2022VW GTI curb weight 3154 lbs), which chews the livin’ Hell out of that “extra powerful” 13 freakin’ horsepower. The torque number is significant, but a lot of people prefer the handling of a lightweight, rear wheel drive sports car to a nose-heavy, FWD box.

AWD always takes a back seat to true 4wd in the snow, especially when paired with a rear locker and decent tires like a 4wd ranger or F-150 comes with.

how does that one perform on a partial overlap test?

with only 2wd and half the power and half the tow rating?

This.  Also, “can park in the city without swearing or being an asshole” which is HUGE for trucks these days and modern cities with smaller and smaller lots.

What’s the point of a smaller unibody pickup if it’s barely any cheaper to gas up?

What the fuck are you going on about?

As I’ve already mentioned numerous times to plenty of people. The original 240z, 260z, and 280z were all nearly identical cars, with emphasis on a bigger motor. Most of the cosmetic changes were negligible.

The 350z, 370z, and new Z are all clearly following that same path. The new

Ah, well, yeah, but no. Sure, there are similarities, but remember that the 350/370Z interior was, itself, also full of homages to to the 240Z, same as this concept. So of course there will be similarities.

Look at the retro-inspired interior of the 2005 Mustang:

Lets play spot the difference!

Funny assessment, but you should uncork on generations of 911's.
