This. The Corvette is for NASCAR fans and the NSX is for F1 fans. The C8 Corvette also looks much better than a 911 on paper, but it isn’t all about the stats. 911’s are also still viable.

I recall a Car and Driver review of these in the early 90’s and they remakes how reliable they became at the end of model run with 12 years or so to work out the kinks.
I mean, some people actually want a smaller, cheaper car that can easily park and maneuver in mixed environments. Apples and oranges.
The old Ranger wasn’t burdened by collision avoidance systems, side curtain airbags, modern crumple zones. Backup camera, lane departure warning, etc….
I believe the key is that very few people just put the cruise on 75 on flat highway for the majority of their commute. It might be part of their commute, but usually offset by more stop and start than they think…… or even just slowing down for traffic, merging etc.,, which favors the hybrid. My wife has a 60 mile…
There are a lot of “car based” systems out there that are better than you think. BMW X drive, Subaru Symmetrical AWD and certain Audi AWD systems just to name a few, all add more power to the wheels with better traction when slippage is detected. Also many of these cars have AWD always “on”.
Great list…. That Acura hits me in the feels as I had one 20 years ago. It is even local to me….. has me wondering what a paint job costs.
Look at other angle photos. There is a golf ball pattern on the underside.
There was a brief time that I owned a 15 GTI at the same time that my wife had a 14’ Impreza hatchback. I was stunned at how much better the VW felt in every way. Switches, door feel, seats, infotainment, interior surfaces, etc…. Cars had similar MSRP’s and you would have thought the VW cost double. You sacrifice a…
This car would be great with a WRX drivetrain.
Very tough to find either a Camero or a Cramro, but Camaro’s are somewhat more common.
Came here for this. Left satisfied… if not immortalized.
Despite the complexity, Japanese hybrids tend to be extremely reliable. The electric bits mean that the gas bits are under lower stress, and with regen, brakes tend to last a long time.
If by “most states” you mean a “few coastal cities”. There aren’t many homes here in Indianapolis that cost over $2m. $500k buys you a very nice place…. But I get what you are saying. A late middle aged couple with a decent house and a healthy 401k can get there pretty easily.
Yeah, $2m buys you a comfortable retirement but not much else.
Could get at least three articles out of that…
Reminds me of an old Seinfeld routine.
It says in the article that they will all be made to order so assume you can order whichever version you please.
Are we naming Liam Neison movies now?
Back when Nader was pushing for seat belt laws, Big Auto actually funded false research to show that people being thrown clear was safer than being strapped in.
