For real. What is wrong with the people in these comments?

Have you ever had a 22 pound cat attack a less than 20 pound infant? You use what's on hand (or foot) to get it off.

Apparently, it wasn't just a "scratch". The cat attacked the baby, and the baby needed medical attention. I am a crazy dog lady who worships her puglet, but I'm all for manhandling an animal to protect a baby. Seems like a natural response to me.

I think it's the fact that you started your post off with "It's great that..." which gives it a sarcastic tone. (May not have been intentional.)

It's great that you get to find it interesting/amusing/funny that people assume you're healthy bc of your body. Flip that (being a healthy person who people assume is not bc of her or his body) and it's not so interesting/amusing/funny anymore. It's a real bummer :(

I agree and kind of resent that people have to be given the benefit of the doubt over their health. Skinny, fat, whatever, someone else's health doesn't need to factor into what their worth is considered as a human being.
