Seeing as how you started your lengthy post with a dismissive and condescending remark, I really don’t care to have the last word. We won’t agree, there is really no point.

Personally I don’t think that logic holds, especially considering the two candidates policy platforms are quite similar. I happen to think Sanders doesn’t have a good temperament for President, but everyone has a different opinion.

I voted for HRC in the primary, Obama in the general.

White HRC fan here! Gawker seems to attract the most insufferable Bernie supporters/Hillary haters. I can’t imagine the nerve of someone virtually patting you on the head like you’re an idiot. I would have a rage stroke...

Yeah. I met with her people recently on a work thing and they were professional, real and nice. They don’t take aaaaany horseshit, which I respect, and run a tight ship. Swift is by no means perfect but I have a massive amount of respect for her and her circle.

This. That girl can't do anything right in the eyes of some.

I have a young son and had an abortion when he was about 3. It was a fairly easy decision, I felt it would impact my son negatively given the circumstances (I’m no longer with his father). I made my choice for the well-being of my living, breathing child. It was the most responsible option.

Here’s a thought, don’t reply dipshits. The trolls I’m okay with but the gazillions of “TAKE ME OFF THIS LIST” works my beads. Clearly it wasn't meant to go out to everyone so ignore it.

Same. Robin Hood is my forever favorite and immediately transports me to my childhood. Sword in the Stone following. This makes me super sad :-( I now have “that crown belongs to King Richard!” running in a loop in my head.

I am not convinced he is innocent but he got an unfair trial. And most certainly his nephew should be granted another trial. I agree with the globbing onto a “cause” with little knowledge, but I would be a-ok with another, fairer, trial. Also, the documentarians have been working on this for like 10 years.

I’m curious. I’m an art director in an industry where copy is important and sit in a lottttt of copy brainstorming sessions. This is why many heads are better than one—there are many occasions where one person says “yeah that might piss someone off” even if it’s perhaps funny.

I interpreted those comments as celebrity making a lot more sense (to strike through) than artist.

As an art director who works closely with editors/writers, I am guessing an artist did not.

Love.

Yup. One of my favorite quotes is “imagination is more important than knowledge” (Einstein). As a professional creative and science nerd, the most important and influential scientists were/are left-right brain.

Good on the judge. It's called nesting and my sons dad and I are seriously considering it. Obviously not for everyone but I have little tolerance for people who don't prioritize the wellbeing of kids in these situations.

My son is 5 and I walk around naked in front of him all the time. I think you’re right, and that’s sad. As much as I dislike Hilton.

I’m stressed enough without online parenting groups—my kid just started Pre-K and I swear I get 5 emails a day. His schooling is more work for me than him. And I don’t caaaaaaaare about fun activities to do with empty shoeboxes.

And this is why, while I am sure it’s lovely, I will never go to Australia.

OMG OMG OMG. Something similar happened to me, about the same size. I sprayed it with ant spray while balancing on my tip toes on the edge of my bed. It also didn’t die so I threw a copy of Larousse Gastronomique, the heaviest book I could find, on top of it (and stood on it because I wasn’t taking any chances) until
