I am fortunate enough to design things, both professionally and personally, that people want to spend their money on and, in the case of my personal work, hang on their walls. It's not a "fact" per se, but I think it's pretty fucking awesome. And it never gets old. I pinch myself daily.

I was going more by her quote and reference to drugs and the apparent dealing going on in the beginning, but okay.

I sped through the video and I didn't really get a horrible vibe. Glamorizing and glorifying gangs, maybe, and she looks pretty out of place. But it's nothing on par with Cyrus.

What? I LOVE dancing gangs.

Those Prada sunglasses never ever ever get old.

So much truth. Super rural north-east CA scares the fuck out of me.

Interestingly she seems to be the only one feeling genuine emotion in this montage.

What made me laugh was not the fillers but the fake crying. The few moments it seemed genuine, like Taylor's lip quivers in the beginning, made me genuinely sad. I don't like seeing anyone in pain, even if they are in a position of affluence/privilege.

Okay, I had the same reaction. That, or "wait, that's all they found?"

Today someone over at Gawker was talking shit about how CA is just as shitty as FL and I was like:

Can't say that I wear them with socks, no.

Ankle jeans. I live in them.

I had an oversized camel-color toggle coat from Tablots for years. It was super cute. Don't knock any brand, there's usually always something you can find.

I agree, I think hair makes a HUGE difference.

This is where I suck. I can handle color in design but when it comes to anything else (interiors, clothing, makeup) I freak out. Sephora nearly gives me a panic attack and I never want to talk to anyone because then I end up spending 500 dollars and I don't entirely trust that they know what they are doing...

I so wish I could pull off a bold lip and think lots of women look smashing in it. I just look like an idiot.

I absolutely love how they think no or very little eye makeup = no makeup. The French Elle "sans fards" (heh) covers were at least a tad more realistic.

Can we please add the Zapfino family to this list. I am so tired of seeing it used for what people believe is an elegant script. Ugh, I can't STAND it. Those horrible stiff loopy descenders/ascenders make me want to punch things.

I work with a lotttttttttt of fonts and I really really love Georgia. It's the best serif that comes with most programs, in my opinion. It's not elegant like, I don't know, Didot, but there's something about it I just love. I use it whenever I use Excel.

Yeah, um, I am very familiar with Jelly Belly's politics. I've shared them quite a bit here in the past years. Glad it's finally getting more exposure. I have a good friend who works there, and they are NOT shy about their political leanings. Also have portraits of GWB and Reagan hanging in the building.
