Jesus Christ. I lost it when that poor woman was being helped away from the wreck and started screaming once the gravity of what had just happened hit her.

So here’s a rule to follow everyone: If someone offends a group of which you are not a part of, it is not up to you to decide when people should get over it or accept the apology.

Never been prouder to be a Durhamite

Yes. YES. If you voted for Trump for “economic” or “pro-life” reasons or some bullshit like that, you voted for racist policies, period. You don’t care what happens to people who are directly affected by racism, so you are supporting it.

The nazi apologists are out in full force today. I have seen countless comments today saying “both sides suck” “antifa is just as bad”.

Look, I’m not a Taylor Swift fan, but I am a fan of women standing up to their abusers and not backing down. There are lots and lots of problematic things about Swift, and she deserves to be criticized for those things, but this situation is not one of them. This man and his lawyer came at her and tried to make her at

Better question: Would you hire Russian prostitutes to urinate on the bed of the AirBnB where Trump was conceived?

Did.... did she also rip off the design of her logo? Isn’t that the same logo on all those shoes that have the massive brass medallion on the toes?

“when she saw the sign, she attempted to locate a store manager, but was unable to find one.”

My view, back when I was still running, was that the faster person always has the duty to avoid others. The runner is the one who is using the sidewalk for a non-standard use, and therefore needs to be the one to change course to avoid hitting/endangering those who are using the sidewalk for a standard use.

I’m sometimes annoyed by people who don’t seem to want to share the sidewalk and walk, at a glacial pace, three or four across, but I always run around them, like a non-sociopath.

Sidewalk etiquette? Dude has plenty of room, as mentioned. Also she’s walking on an angle to give him more room. As a frequently disgruntled jogger who wishes the world would put more effort into sidewalk etiquette, I feel pretty confident he just wanted to push a woman in front of a bus.

Can you imagine, considering that trans women are killed at astonishing rates, ostracized at almost every turn for being who they are, and are indeed PEOPLE wanting the same love and affection that everyone wants... can you imagine how little incentive there is for a trans person to “trick” anyone??

I mean, I think it’d it’s going to be an offensive joke that gets a pass it has to be in some way smarter than “ew trans people are icky”.

Watched part 1 of his new special on netflix and there was a lot of this. It was pretty gross.

His jokes suck, but this line...

Yes for textiles, colors, and animals! I also have a ton of plants. Plants everywhere, some as old as my first apartment like 18 years ago.

I think the thing that’s different about the Skimm, for better or worse, is that it takes that fluffy tone and applies it to serious news articles. When Cosmo covers, say, rape on campus, it doesn’t use the same tone as it does for the best bikini for the season.
