Hopefully its more like, "there people own these disks, maybe we should let them do what they want as long as they arent redistributing them."

I kind of hope it is so I can look forward to hearing about how its the most magical design ever...

Guess that is your angle but most of these full featured ones are damned near as much as a smartphone, and anymore a broken smartphone (if youre using google and now icloud) is just a display for data in the cloud so replacement isnt an issue.

Because most in the know have the understanding that a trojan is no more than an app that someone has to willingly install and ignore its permissions. Multiple have existed for ios. The only difference being is that one got into the market for each platform but Android does allow users to sideload so its got greater

Well, if someone is eating a hot dog every day then we should be crapping on them too, just like you. Although probably not as bad seeing as how their hot dogs dont impact the health of those around them or make everything they go near smell like moldy old hot dogs.

So the real title should be "fat texan presses charges in hopes of suing woman and movie theater." DFW no less, Austin is about the only part of texas that shouldnt be de-populated and filled with cows. Even my brother should get the hell out of Houston.

Its enough to perk up my ears. I never really saw the point of the "TV" options like Google and Apple but for $100 I might just give it a go. Hell, everything else i have is Google in some way, maybe it would give me yet another way of playing media from my phone/tablet/computer to the TV.

The funny thing is they are probably pretty accurate. In casual conversation about how a friend met a guy on eharmony (and, as described is now engaged less than a year later) I was actually surprised how many people I knew who actually used these sites seriously. Most of them had the same descriptions. They

My first though, crap that was some shoddy work. It seems like someone was either a complete moron, had 5 minutes to build that rig or wanted to get caught because that shit is obviously wrong. But then again I used to install/service CCTV, alarm and fire systems in high school so I might be more keen on what that

Unfortunately virtually everything garmin does in the consumer space is under attacks from smartphones and this is another one. I use an app on my phone that can do all of this and can even connect via bluetooth to wireless headphones and a heart rate meter.

Working for an ECM company they have been experimenting with moving onto blackberry, android and iDevices. The only issue is security, with a lot of the varying rules regarding PII and medical information its a virtual minefield.

Yeah, and sitting by the window I get 10mb/s on WiMax over the Evo but if I move into the building it drops quickly.

Ive not had any issues streaming over a 3g signal. In those instances where I dont have even that I can cache using Google Music, not sure about the other options but that will get me there.

Im done with it, since Google Music is very friendly with my android devices I nixed having music on the drive. I only keep the songs in my active playlists cached for when I am on a plane, etc but outside of that I am only extremely rarely without wifi or cellular signal.

Im with you, WiMax was cool when it was the only game in town but seeing as how there arent crap for new markets opening up it feels abandoned. I cant jump ship though, it would cost me damned near $30 a month more for a plan that is as close as I can get (and still not "unlimited").

Because Clear has stalled with WiMax and Sprint probably believes the lower frequency will fare better at holding longer range and penetrating buildings.

I want to give them my money, I really do. I wanted to buy a digital copy of the kings speech that I could watch on multiple platforms. It cant, its not possible. I can get a BD but that only plays in my PS3. I can do Amazon but that only plays on the computer. iTunes is only good on iStuff and Google Movies is

Yes, Honeycomb is a buttonless OS. Its built around the thought that the only buttons a device would have would be power and volume buttons on the side. This way every way can be up and the "buttons" can change contextually.

Word, the show can be fun at time but their "science" is often flawed and things they said couldnt be done easily could (like the car being blown over by a jet engine). They are special effects guys, not Underwriters Laboratories.

It does, even as someone with a Transformer. It just does when you are considering the app itself. Its always there and its making your browser/movie/game a tiny bit smaller. I can see why it has to be there. The ipad and pre-honeycomb tablets all have buttons for the home functionality, Honeycomb does not. So it
