1. You’re absolutely right. But here’s what the actual situation was. The person threatening to dox was a player named Haunt. He’s literally hardware banned from the game. He is not a pro-player, he’s just an asshole who used to play OW. The “harassment” was threads OverwatchTMZ asking who the heck this completely

You either work for Bethesda or you have an unhealthy passion for being mad at people calling out companies bullshit.

I can shit wherever I want.

Doubtful.   That would be a generous estimate

Why is it that people aren’t allowed to talk about this game, and it’s failings, and the general disappointment many of us have with it?

In weird apocalyptic Bethesda world it is logical ;)

> “maybe 5 people”

I haven’t played the game so maybe I’m missing something story-wise but 76 stands for the number of patches until it’s playable, right?

So for once they broke this game in a positive way and as quickly as possible they’ve fixed this positive bug leaving more important game breaking bugs living in happiness and healthy.

Also:
“These are people who are predating on children who do not understand consent, who are physically powerless against an adult, and frequently are easily mislead and confused because they lack world context and experience.”

You’re arguing against fiction which has no agency. We’re on the same side when it comes to reality, but different sides when it comes to fiction.

You of all people should know that you don’t get to choose what you’re attracted to, you only get to choose how you deal with it. Have some empathy for your fellow human beings, unless of course they’re actually fucking kids or encouraging real pedophilia then they should definitely go to prison.

Sure, but in your world it’d all be banned right?

We definitely need more “mid-tier” games.

I missed the medium-budget segment of games. There used to be a ton of gems there

I just don't care about penny ante shit is all, and I think it's a waste for other people to, either.

Careful, you’ll offend someone and have to resign from your job or get fired or apologize but don’t apologize too hastily.

I'd recommend reading the original article. The Postal 2 tweet is definitely defendable, as the gravestone is hard to read. In the Won'tBeErased tweet, he thought the hashtag was people talking about old movies, games, and books they didn't want to disappear. Then to learn that he was never allowed a chance to

I’ve just had enough of outrage culture already. Children are dying of starvation in Yemen as a result of manmade famine conditions stemming from the war. I have literally no fucks left to give on whether people are inadvertently or even maliciously misusing hashtags on Twitter.

Or because they know in this climate taking any stance at all hurts their bottom line and as a business they don’t want it damaged. It’s a logical if somewhat cowardly position but at least it’s not a bigoted one.
