First Class was such a generic X-Men story that I couldn’t really get behind any of the actors in their roles.

MwFuler has two modes: crap on anything that is popular with anyone, and introduce ‘The Simpsons’ to any conversation in a jarring way. And considering this is the AV Club, there’s a high bar for “in a jarring way”.

Did I just watch an entire episode of a show I’d never seen before from the comments section of an AV club article on another show I’d never seen before? Well, I’m not going to say that I didn’t do that.

I figure the nostalgia will manifest itself through creepypasta. Scary stories about watching “cursed videos” from back when YouTube was unregulated will be very popular.

To be funny, one needs to tell jokes. When Lorne Michaels distilled the worst parts of Mike Myers and Adam Sandler into Fallon, he just created a cloying, mugging, smiling goofball that’s more like the annoying ADHD kid than a comedian.

You’re right. The difference is I’m worse at friendship than you. lol

Meh. Half of my exes are exes because one or both of us moved away for a job. I’m not staying friends with an ex who moved across the country just so I can go on the internet and brag to strangers that I’m still friends with my exes.

I hope this sequel is as good as the first.

Fuck, band names always make the most straightfoward headlines convoluted as hell.

I had no idea who this “Devon Sawa” person was, and I think I saw both of those movies you listed (although I haven’t seen Uncle Buck).

I guess I’m in the minority here but I’ve never had a problem with her as an actress. I don’t imagine I would like her much if I ever met her, but that, I’m sure, isn’t ever going to be an issue.

Racism is overstated as a cause of Brexit. It’s definitely in the mix but the main cause has been the constant anti-EU bullshit in the press, and our willingness to believe it. Eh, it’s a sketch comedy show starring children and for children. It’s a sort of thing that’s infinitely rebootable and can easily be different. Hell, even AYAOTD? was an anthology show, so making new episodes of that is also conceivable to me. Of all the reboots and remakes, these two at least make sense to me.

This feature is just way too intermittent.  Have we used up all the good recommends already?
