Jeebus this guy again...we get it you grew up rich. Sheesh you don’t have to keep throwing it around Moneybags. In all seriousness Costas cameo in Pootie Tang is what makes it such a good cult movie. His role and the delivery of his lines were spotless. I hope he didn’t have to witness Louis C.K. make some poor intern

My thumbnail of this is that Wayans was being a diva, as opposed to Crawford, who was being an abusive asshole, so they replaced him with Stifler, who is not a diva, or an asshole, to the extent I feel guilty about calling him Stifler. Role Models is a very good movie.

There is also the scope of this film. Which rivals if not exceeds Infinity War. While there are less characters to juggle overall there are still a ton of plot threads that need to come together. Including but not limited too Captain Marvel, Hawkeye as Nomad, Scott Lang and his thing, finding Thanos, beating Thanos,

These guys have earned my trust.  If they say it needs to be three hours, then so be it.

It started strong, sagged, and finished pretty well. The final panel was, and is, one of the finest ever 4-color, IMHO.

I can’t help but think that he landed on Gaiman mainly by free-associating from the movie title. If they’d called it “Starman”, would he have been calling for John Carpenter to take a crack at it?

The American comic book industry has been on life support since the speculator boom popped in the 90's. Ending Diamond’s monopoly on distribution would be the way to fix it.

First Serenity (2019), then Stardust (2020). I’m looking forward to the Donovan biopics, Sunshine (2021) and Superman: The Movie (Richard Donner, 1978) (2022).

It would have been just as brutally inane as MoS and BvS. Especially considering it would have ended with Crazy Steve dying in what was likely an “homage” to Grant Morrison’s Final Crisis. Probably because it involved Batman shooting Darkseid.

Beaker will never not be funny.  Sometimes a one-note joke is a perfect joke.

The comments thread on that article about the attack was a horror show, and I honestly think it’s a Kinja thing. The old AV Club boards may have had their issues, but I don’t think they ever had a roster of racist shitbags spinning conspiracy theories about how Jussie Smollett couldn’t have been the victim of a real

Just dropping in to say that Ziggy is one of those albums....

An excellent analysis. “Sweeney Todd” was the last Burton film I loved, and the last live-action musical I can remember really embracing. I’ve skipped a lot of the more recent ones, and from most the clips I’ve seen here from those, I can’t say I’m missing much.

No, he’s a mutant who gets killed by Sentinels in the first episode.

As soon as I saw this negative review I knew The Gentleman wouldn’t like it.  Why do you continue to comment about a reviewer you obviously hate?  You seem to actively hate Dowd.  Find something that makes you happy.  Life’s too short to be bitter and joyless.  Turn that frown upside down, buckaroo!!

“Mostly Bullshit” is a needlessly clickbaity headline, and makes it seem like they’re just tossing your sample and making up the results. Essentially they’re taking your sample and comparing to the samples of a few thousand other people. The larger and more diverse the sample is, the more accurate your results will be.

How is it that Snakes on a Plane doesn't have a slew of direct-to-video sequels?

Isn’t it a bit weird that in a discussion about the points system, which will have massive future consequences for everyone, the judge never invited anyone from the Good Place to participate? It was just two demons and an ‘impartial’ judge, arguing over the fate of humanity.

The mention of Simone makes me wonder if Shawn’s going to pick her as one of the new four to mess with Chidi.
