Lexi Alexander please

A lot of good post-apocalyptic science fiction is good because of handling that well. See, for instance, Jerimiah, or season two of The 100.

So the takeaway here is that Dennis Miller is okay with making brutal jokes about public figures, he just won’t do it to their face.

Gotta admit though, the inventor is pretty spot on, though Tesla did it the other way around and didn’t have people try and wash his crazy sides to try and make him into the science world’s secret Jesus Christ until he’d been dead for years.

I think, even more than the single-character focus, the pacing was just off. The original run was several jokes per minute, and the 22 minute air time of network comedy made sure that everything was incredibly dense and only the best material made it to air.

I remember watching the trailer for this at work with a co-worker. We were in a habit of looking at ALL the releases of each, new week based on Rotten Tomatoes.

I grimly watched all of it, down to last pathetic gasps. It really says something when MARTIN SHORT is genuinely the funniest thing on your show.

This comment section is going to be a shitshow hotbed so I’m getting this out right now: Michelle Wolf is hilarious and you all should watch Nice Lady after tonight.

“I’ma get some Ketracel-white hittin’ Jem’Hadar who’ll go to work on the homes here, with a tricorder and a cutter beam. You hear me talkin’, terraformer boy? I ain’t through with you by a damn sight. I’ma get 21st-century on your ass.”

You mean Saints Row 4, right? Yeah that was a great meta joke.

Good list! Jim Cummings is one of my favorites, when he gets to be unique. He did voice work in Skyrim and Fallout 4, the problem is he’s voicing so many characters in there with the same voice that it just sort of sticks out. It’s more of an issue of Bethesda needing to hire more voice actors along with Jim Cummings

No one (that I know of) said that? Is anyone saying to boycott Hank Azaria? Complaining about the problematic aspects of a character isn’t saying burn everything down to the ground as much as the reactions to the reactions want it to be. If anything, it’s been more of a flame war against Al Jean and the current

You’re right about that, but I wish there had been enough notice to give them time to do a proper series finale — maybe one written and directed by Raimi, even, to bring the saga of Ashley J. Williams to a close.

I wish these celebs would stop ruining themselves for me by believing in ghosts :/

What bothers me more than how she pronounces the word is how she emphasizes the syllables. Usually symbiote or symbiotic emphasizes the sym part. But she’s emphasizing all three parts as if they are three different words next to each other.

If by “the left” you mean “consumers of fiction,” and “their own” you mean “a hack writer,” I guess?

This movie is jaw-droppingly 90's looking. The flat palette, rubbery cgi, the gritty anti-hero, the motorcycle and wave after wave of dapper, nameless goons. It really looks like it crawled out of a pile of discarded Spawn VHS tapes.

I’m guessing they meant “web game” rather than “Internet game.”

I’m actually liking Seth Meyers’ political bits better than Colbert’s, which is weird. Colbert was brilliantly savage on the Colbert Report, but he just doesn’t have the same edge on network TV.

But what’s interesting about it is that it didn’t have to mean they were pretty, and yet so many of them are.
