Oh, they definitely edited King of Kong in such a way as to make it a more compelling story. But, as usual, it can be two things: Mitchell does just also happen to be a totally villainous jerk.

The King of Kong is pretty much what would happen if a Christopher Guest movie was real
The radio station that plays at work has been offering tickets to the Midwest Gaming Classic all week. THEY NEVER SAID THERE WOULD BE HAWT BILLY MITCHELL NEWS!!! I would have definitely gone!
“In thick patois — I won’t do the voice. Well, I’ll do the voice a little...”
This is how John Mulaney turns a pretty funny joke to begin with into a great joke.
“The passwords have passed, you’ve correctly guessed,
Lot of dream hosts this season. Speaking of which, Mulaney crushed it tonight.
I don’t really care when he complains about movie details, but his response to the solar eclipse last year was insufferable and made me think much less of him. At a moment when millions of people in America were eagerly looking in the stars and evincing a strong interest in astronomy, ol’ Capt. Buzzkill goes…
I find the backlash on twitter, and the words spilled here (and I believe you guys have done this about him in the past), to be disporportionate to what he’s actually saying and doing. Like he makes a benign comment “if the movie “Gravity” was real, X and Y couldn’t have happened”. This results in 30000 tweets saying…
Yet another example of a show I would never normally watch getting wedged into the weekend queue because of a beloved Deadwood actor.
ACTUALLY, even assuming a soul exists, let alone could be crushed, his “take” has no physical properties which would allow for any such “crushing”.
It’s hard for me sometimes, balancing my love and respect for Neil Degrasse Tyson with my knowledge that he is a self-obsessed blowhard. I like that you have proof of what I already knew, that he repeats the same things over and over again. I’ve heard him say that thing about Awesome in interviews too, and maybe even…
Red Letter Media did a memorable episode of Best of the Worst featuring Deadly Prey, and they also covered the sequel, Deadliest Prey, in a later episode.
Whoops sorry for the bad grammar.
I only meant to say “in the future” once. Thought I edited that out.
Come hang out at Terence Howard’s remote bayou compound, so he can explain to you in detail how he singlehandedly reinvented math.
I don’t think that Syd from the future is real, or if she is, maybe it’s an avoidable timeline
I have so many opinions on Discovery. I think the story for S1 was good, but very poorly plotted and paced. I think the characters are great but not given nearly enough room to breathe. I think the set/costume/visual effect design is fucking amazing but set in completely the wrong era. Overall, I think it’s vying with…
Making a game linear with only one or two feasible endings is pretty much playing an interactive story which is fine...but making the story end by smashing your head against the wall after telling you the story is going to end well isn’t cool.
i have been surprised that Alex hasn’t mentioned that David has talked to the voices in his head several times as that seems pretty damn important.
