It's gotta suck to have to adopt a policy or model that you used to make fun of. Touting an advantage only to give it up and end up just like your competition is an embarrassment.

@mathemology: Because no matter how hard I try to think "competition is good" all I can remember is getting repeatedly fucked by Blockbuster's late fees and their "too bad" attitude.

@Wittyname: It sad to think of the horrors that people have to witness each and every day. It often makes your problems seem insignificant and helps put your life into perspective. At least it does for me. Suddenly, that issue at work or at home doesn't seem quite so bad when you realize the horrendous events some

@OMG! Bacon!: I may have stolen it, but I didn't know it. Why can't we all just get along?

@tasteskindasalty: Admittedly, it did take me a while to get used to the 2-day delay. I've been a product of instant gratification for years, and adding in that delay was rough. :)

@Dr Durdon: Coincidence. I've never done anything on Reddit.

These types of apps are great and if they proliferate enough, they should get retailers worried. Every time I go into Costco, for example, I'll fire up Red Laser and more often then not place an order for the item with a 1-click purchase from Amazon. Cheaper, free shipping (with Prime) and no tax? How could you not

Pfft. Big deal. I was the POTY back in '06 and it really doesn't mean squat. I mean, I didn't even get a plaque or anything. WTH?

@waclark57: 1Password and RoboForm can do that for you and might be something for you to look at.

Stuff like this makes me happy that I use a unique password on each site. If you use the same password for everything, I'd urge you to make them all unique. I know it's a pain in the ass, but when something like this happens, your entire online life isn't compromised.

@Freezen: It would be depressing: "Can't take it anymore. Going to fly away and kill myself now. Bye cruel world."

@mikepetty: And way less in both initial and maintenance costs I would suspect.

@terriblejoshua: No, I was pointing out to you that you were doing the same thing you were telling others to stop doing by telling people not to buy it because it was bad (an opinion based on hearsay not first hand experience).

@terriblejoshua: i don't care if you save your money. just don't tell other people how bad it is when it really isn't. nice try though.

@klick73: Yeah. Bruce Banner could wear it, get pissed because the battery life sucks for a watch, and it'd still stay on.

@seki: 37 and have always worn a watch. Damn kids these days. :)

@streeeeetch: Oh man this would be awesome. I'm going to heart you not only for this comment but for also staying in here and logically and respectfully arguing your point. Not many people seem to do that anymore and we'd have a much better experience online if people did. :)
