I am not good at these kinds of word games, so if it’s too difficult, I don’t play. But I saw a TikTok that gave me a way to join in, though by far my stats are to solve on the sixth guess. (132 out of 196) I missed today’s but that’s only the 4th time since March, so I have a 97% solve rate overall and a max streak

It’s a glitch in the web page HTML code. It’s not something that can be fixed by just editing the post unless you remove the sentence, which defeats the purpose of the page, and since I’m guessing Stephen is a reporter and not the site’s webmaster, it’s not something he can fix personally. That makes it not his fault.

It’s not Stephen’s fault. There’s a weird glitch in the html that drops words and phrases. I have pointed it out on other posts, including one just this week.

You can access some of the aforementioned benefits of an Amazon Prime subscription without actually paying for an Amazon Prime subscription, as Amazon is shockingly relaxed, if not actively encouraging, when it comes to customers sharing their accounts. To share your account with someone, you simply just add them to

Yeah, I checked the HTML and what they wrote but got dropped is what I guessed. Can’t blame the author for that, but you’re right, they do need to get it fixed.

Now you’ve got your book in Kindle-friendly MOBI format, you need to transfer it to your Kindle or the Kindle App on your phone, tablet, or PC. The easiest way to do so is to . It book will pop up in your Kindle library automatically, which is a pretty cool feature of the Kindle software.

If I see a slideshow post that I’m curious about while on my iPad, I open it there, as the slideshow turns into a list on one page instead. On my Windows laptop, I click on Start Slideshow, then on List Slides, to see if any of the slides are worth checking out. (On this one, nothing was.)

LONG post. TL;DR: use the algorithm as a tool instead of something to block.

I created a Shortcut to let me dictate text for anything I need to remember or save, though it doesn’t do all the things your app does. I set it up to activate by using the triple back tap [Settings -> Accessibility -> Back Tap (bottom of the list)], but you can activate it by asking Siri to run it as well.

A whole lot of people have posted analogies (raping puppies, shooting people, shitting on the floor, driving drunk, etc.) but I’m not going that route. Please realize that if everyone wore a mask to start with, and as many as possible got vaccinated as soon as possible, we might not have had the delta and omicron

As I mentioned elsewhere, based on your comment, I plan to do some research and maybe replace them for safety. I also mentioned that it’s too bad it’s not feasible to drill small airholes to release the heat.

There was a winking emoticon after my reply, meaning it was a joke. But after reading the comment about how they trap heat, I might just replace them for safety, as we do have LED bulbs in all of them. Too bad it’s not feasible to drill small airholes in them to release the heat.

Yup! This is a whole article posted today at https://lifehacker.com/how-to-remove-followers-on-twitter-1848067495 :

Exactly why it goes with my decor! ;)

And just what, exactly, is wrong with having a “boob” light? We have them in all four bedrooms in our house, which we’ve lived in for over 12 years, and not one person visiting has ever said a word. And believe me, there were plenty of people who would have said something. Just because you’ve judged them as

I guess I should clarify. We give to family members who also live in this house, and then gather them up when the holiday is over, so it’s not that I have to ask, as they give them back to me of their own accord, as they don’t want them. One bag I bought several years ago was the perfect design for my daughter, and I

I’ve bought ceramic dinner plates, which are seconds, that have held up better than the expensive set I bought at Bed, Bath and Beyond. When my son moves out, he plans to use the Dollar Tree to stock his kitchen with dishes, glasses and utensils. Some fabric goods (towels, washcloths, etc.) are OK but most are barely

While I agree, this isn’t secure, one of the things you CAN do is use Siri to enable and disable voice control. So if you needed to, you can use Siri to enable voice control, use the custom gesture to unlock your phone, and then use Siri to disable voice control. (Of course, that demands that your settings allow Hey

Yep, I’ve been using Pocket for years, and the WaPo block is recent. I tried one of WaPo’s new subscriber discounts ($2 for three months I think) but I just wasn’t using it enough to continue past the trial period.

Answer but then being quiet while you mentally count to five, or ten at the most, usually causes them to disconnect. I also NEVER give out information if I don’t know them. A call last week was a live person, asking “Is [spouse’s first name] there?” I asked who was calling WITHOUT confirming or denying. They responded
