Everything worked out in the end..

Why are you so focused on ratings? How does that determine how good a show is? People are obviously into it, and you despise THEM. Not just the show, but its viewers. Sad!

ok thx. Forgot about that but just re-watched it. The older boy's father would have been around to get Sam. I also noticed that the window next to Sam's car seat was partially down, so at the very least he wouldn't have had to sit in a sealed car.

I don't mean this to sound harsh, but if you thought the parallel universe of the 2% that Nora claimed to have visited had anything to do with the purgatory worlds Kevin visited, this show went over your head. Sorry.

Kevin was profoundly messed up. His suicide attempts don't have a rational explanation. Holy Wayne was a charlatan. His hugs "worked" like a psychic "works." Pretty sure they said that ATFEC fired the drone.

I like how he genuflected while leaving, as though to say, "Don't worry, I was just praying. In the attic."

Because Matt told Nora that he would tell everyone whatever she wanted him to tell them. So Nora could have changed her mind at the last second, and then told Matt she was going into seclusion and please tell Kevin I went through.

I don't recall Sam's dad being nearby. However, the chaotic scenes in the center of Mapleton immediately post-Departure indicate that someone would have been around to find Sam, even if it was just that corrupt judge that hit Matt and Mary's car.
But yeah, I don't think the fetus made it.

Speaking of shows no one watched, on FlashForward, they explained that the catastrophic event where everyone loses consciousness for two minutes happened at night in China, so things were less affected there.

Yes, her fetus just plopped on the ground in the other world. What do you think happens with miscarriages?

So now we know two things about you, Damon Lindelof kicked your puppy, and you work for American Greetings.

I seriously have to question the intellectual capabilities of anyone who could not only hate the show as much as you do, but also hate the people who have the audacity to like the show, and still watches the show week after week, only to come on here week after week and complain about it. You question my intellectual

Sounds vaguely like "Terra Nova," a decidedly non-prestige TV show from Fox that lasted barely one season.

Maybe, like Sam's mom, they were waiting for their departees to return. But yeah, the scientist having the resources to build another machine is tough to get around.

It was even less in The Stand and they did ok.

The two of you should get together. You sound perfect for each other. Your wedding favors can be smashed-up copies of the Leftovers complete box set.

The zero people that watch the show helped make #TheLeftovers a trending topic last night.

It seemed like Sam's mom was parked in the center of town when the Departure occurred, and people were freaking out all around her, so hopefully there were other departures that found Sam. [Mapleton was filmed in the real NY town of Hastings-on-Hudson. Based on its 2010 census, even if only half its population was in

Just seemed like it was not their first tryst. They were pretty into each other.

Do you mean why was Tuan on the show at all, or why didn't Philip and Elizabeth kill him? He was on the show to infiltrate the Morozovs. They had no mission reason to kill Tuan afterward.
You are wrong about the "We begin bombing in five minutes." At least part of the Soviet military was put on alert. Also, TASS
