    I love the idea, but when you turn the lights off, poof... there goes your echo. I’m actually thinking about recessing a light for this exact purpose, and just hard-wiring it so it’s always on.

    I was hoping for some insight into this one as well - my house is lousy with echo dots (at $50 a pop, there’s one in every room), so we decided to give the unlimited family plan a shot this year - $149 for the year is the cheapest I’ve found for a family plan, but the curation is just simply awful.
