A lot of insurance companies will drop you instantly by just mentioning racing. Don't mention it, you gain nothing by telling them because you aren't covered anyways. I've been using country insurance and I couldn't be happier with them.

Gtr is fast as hell for the money. To claim that it's overrated isn't the case (getting a little long in the tooth now though.) Would I own one, no, but to say they're overrated I disagree.

Let it warm up, oil changes every 3000 miles, and just keep up with the maintenance. It’ll burn oil, they all do. It’s going to be a little bit more unreliable then a Honda. But really they’re quite great. Synchro grind is kind of common too. If you find one with no issues and take care of it, it’ll treat you the Read more

Always hated Heineken until I had it with beer nuts on a layover in Switzerland. Changed my whole view on it. Only way I drink it now.

Nissan GTR isn’t cheap to maintain. Everything is on par with high end German cars. Hell even my local Nissan dealers charge twice as much an hour for labor on the gtr compared to normal nissans.

Do a compression test. Honestly if it's been taken care of right the rest of the car will turn to rust before it dies.

If I were to cheat the rules a smidge, base Cayman gt4. Base z06 if we must follow the rules.

I went with a full 3" tb on my sti with a Megan racing at the rear and a 3" cutout at the downpipe. It's an utter shame the exhaust Subaru puts on these from the factory. Also hyper blue is making me extremely jealous. As soon at the fa2x sti comes out, if it's available in HB I'll have the first in the country.

I’d find a gt3 r.s. 4.0 and Carrera gt both in white. Whichever I’m closer to will be the one I’ll buy first. Read more

They didn’t want to issue one of my plates (saabaru) online, but after I spoke to the nice ladies at the dmv and feigned ignorance when they asked if I checked online if it was available, they sent the form in and I got my plates a month later.

That’s literally all the performance tires I can find in that range. I was going to pick up a set of z2 star specs for my sti, from what I’ve read they’re as good as they get. Re71’s are a bit stickier but gl getting decent tread life from them.

You can get Dunlop direzza z2 star specs in 185/60/14. I’ve heard they have really good tread life (30k miles) for an extreme performance tire.
