Well, that was...underwhelming. Especially for a series that has made me feel a whole buttload of feelings in the last 6 years.

he is a sexy sexy man.

Not without a green card joke being thrown in (by everyone's favorite woman-beating white guy) for good measure, though

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I wasn't sure about seeing the movie. I went back and forth for a while, but I'm so glad I did. I didn't realize it was based on a book until reading more about the film afterwards. Your comment sealed the deal. I'm definitely going to check it out.

I just saw Still Alice yesterday and was so excited this morning to find out Julianne Moore had won. I thought she was brilliant. As someone with a parent with early onset dementia, it was definitely difficult for me to watch. I had to take deep breaths/look at the ceiling to keep myself from bursting into tears,

I loved the complexity of that storyline so much! I could feel my alliances shift back and forth between them as they talked, like, yes Annalise should be entitled to name herself and yes, maybe she should be a little ashamed that her roots aren't "good enough" for her and, and, and. It was amazing, the writing,

Yes, this exchange spoke not only to the harm of sexual abuse, but also addressed how seemingly infallible and objective systems (created by men and power) do not get justice for the marginalized and require us to navigate injustice on our own. Given that the show functions within a legal framework, I thought her

Yes! That's the journey. Don't talk about it but get your own back. At first, I was upset by her position but then... I mean. This show, those actors? Fucking awesome. Why do they bother with the other characters at all?

I've been watching HTGAWM all season without really getting invested or caring what was happening on screen. But last night, I was GLUED to my TV. It was so real and raw. Easily some of the best acting I've ever seen on television.

Two caged birds singing through gritted teeth.

I think that was really powerful and really sad. When Annalise's mom made that statement that men take things and there's no reason to talk about it, it seemed like she was excusing their behavior. Like a "boys will be boys" kind of thing. And it's easy to see why that would hurt Annalise so bad and cause her so much

Scar from her soul-removal surgery.

YES! Plus he's always complaining about being friend-zoned. If Friends was filmed in 2015, he'd wear a fedora.

Isn't it kind of her job to try and remain objective through an interview so that the interviewee will feel okay to participate? If she would have blasted him in the interview that it's preposterous that an animal could consent to this that might've ended the interview pretty abruptly. You obviously knew this

I thought it was exceedingly fair-minded. I came to this article expecting something ridiculous and came away feeling rather somber.

Also I do disagree about the Jezebel spin. This is the first article I've read on Jezebel that actually approaches a complex and "icky" (or is it "icthy"?) sexual matter without being judgmental. Kudos for that.

Mmmmm normally i'd agree (especially where sheep, dogs etc are involved) but this isn't the only story i've seen about a dolphin trying it on with a human, and i do agree it'd be pretty damn hard to rape a dolphin unless you strap it down or something.

Not to mention Ed Helms, Olivia Munn and John Hodgman.

I think the most amazing thing about the daily show is the number of careers that took off after working at that show. Steve Carrell, icon, movie star, star of one of the greatest american comedy shows ever. Stephen Colbert, legendary tv star, about to replace David freakin Letterman! John Oliver, quickly establishing
