well…I can understand the characters of the show going "the end of the world is coming, why investigate a murder?"

Jude didn't commit suicide, he was murdered. He turns around because he hears someone come in, expects it to be Celine and his reaction shows it was clearly someone else. They staged it as a suicide.

Yeah, all the unnecessary hurdles (Celine being trapped in the doctor's office…why wouldnt she just take a bunch of pregnancy tests and go back to the car? the plane crash, the door getting stuck, etc) were cut from an action film and it was annoying.
